what's the best memo system for Old pochmon/M2? At the moment I'm using letter pairs for corners (well, I'm switching to that as we speak) and for edges I just use random words....and I really need a new memo system.

^ This isn't something people can really tell you off the bat. Memo methods are extremely experimental and highly variable, more so than execution methods. And although it's generally agreed upon that 3-cycles using commutators and speed-optimal algs is generally fastest (I feel like I'm missing another adjective/prepositional phrase and I didn't want to say "freestyle"), there is no widely considered "best" memo method. Whatever works for you. This is something you'll have to look up and decide on your own. The stickies have great guidelines and googling memo methods or BLD memo methods certainly doesn't hurt.

There are 5 for variations of them.

DFr > FDl > FUr , A9
l D2 l U2 l' D2 l U2 l2

DFr > FDl > UBr, Columns
U2 r2 U2 r D2 r' U2 r d2 r U2

DFr > FDl > URf, A9
r2 U' r D2 r' U r D2 r

DFr > FDl > DRb, setup to 8-mover
r y U' r U L2 U' r' U L2 y' r'

DFr > FDl > RDf, setup to 8-mover
l' y L2 U' l' U L2 U' l U y' l

Then there's variations of these.

So I'm trying to figure out how to optimize my Edges method.
With TuRBo, I can do fast S-slices and always set-up in 2 moves, excluding cycles with DF/FD or DB/BD. I figure I'll just memorize the 4 speed-optimal algs for these 4 cases. I'm interested in BH Edges, but I'm not sure how I could incorporate it into TuRBo, excluding these 4 cases. How do others mix in BH Edges with their Edges method?

EDIT: or would it be better to switch to BH edges altogether?
