I'm starting with BH and M2 for 3x3 BLD, and I have a problem with the parity while doing the edges.

I've ended up many times with FU and FB flipped in their position. I usually just swap with other edge and solve in a 3 cycle, but it's messy and has given me many DNF along the way.

What's the usual way to deal with parity in M2?

I didnt think about it too much so i hope to be right but you can solve the last corner with pochmann and then do de cycle
UB UL, then continue with UB first memorized, is not optimal at all but it is easy :D
no sé si también podrías tirar del algoritmo de la T volteando los bordes, si es así este algoritmo está en el tutorial de rabux de old pochmann, yo no me lo sé :S

Is there any program/software which gives 4x4 scrambles only for centers leaving the edges and corners? Because i want to practice the centers blindfolded

I just use 2x2 scrambles. Edge pairs are broken up but edges and their adjacent corner are maintained so it's easy to tell if something is not in the right place.

Now it makes sense (your YouTube comment) ^^.
The thing is that I use DF as buffer position, so a T-Perm would be a needless rotation. Also, both edges are flipped in position.
El tema es que uso DF como buffer, por lo que un T-Perm sería darle mucha vuelta al tema. Además, estan ambos bordes en su posición pero mal orientados.

lol
if you want to flip two edges just use a pure flip alg like (M' U')4 U' (M' U')4 U

as for parity it depends on what method you use to solve corners and what your buffer is.

I meant FD... I use BH for corners (or at least I'm trying to).
Thanks for the alg.

Hey everyone,

can you guys take some time out to do me a favor? just post the memo for M2 edges of this scramble:

R D B2 U' F2 B' U' B U' L2 U B' U F2 U F' B' D' L F R2 U2 R' D R2

and if you still have time, help post the memo for this scramble too :):

B' R' L' U2 L R D' B' R' L2 U2 F2 R F2 D2 U' F2 B2 D2 L2 R D2 R D' F

remember, just for M2 edges. i need your help cos right now i don't know if i''ve really mastered this method or whether i'm just making mistakes. i've about more than 20 attempts with M2 and still not even one single success: :(

How do I "make sentences"? Might seem dumb but...when I try one long sentence, the structure still appears to be multi based. It's not one sentence that's fluid.

Right now my one long sentence is basically multi sentences condensed to one sentence without pauses, which has lead to several recall delays/DNFs from forgetting memo.

Went back to multi shortly after and got a new PB, unsure of which memo method to stick to :(.

I experimented with one long sentence for a while, and I had the same problem you had - it wasn't one fluid sentence, so it didn't really help. However, very rarely you can get cases where it all sort of flows - when it does, it can be super fast! Perhaps people like Aron can really accomplish that on every solve, but for me it doesn't seem to work most of the time.

Yeah there was only one instance (perhaps two) in the BLD accomplishment thread where Aron posted the IRC logs, where it all flowed.

I'd really REALLY like to know whether I should continue my efforts in 1 long sentence (long being used loosely) to work on my 1 sentence. Or if it doesn't make a difference.

I'd love opinions.
