What's your cycle for UBL>LUF>RUB? I currently use [F2 ;[R2, U'L'U]] but the F2 is real awkward.

EDIT: Thanks etshy; I'm always making randomtypos qq. (Haha)

1) Don't use M U2 M' U2 and similar 4-movers. Well, you can use (U2 M U2 M')*2 instead.
 Not even the algs U2 M' U2 M' and M U2 M U2? (the only 4-movers I use) From what I see it doesn't do anything bad as long as the centers are solved first.

2) BU as always - flip, M2, flip back.
I don't like that. My alg for 3x3 is (U M')*3 U M (U M')*4, but for 5x5 it should work to do something like M2 F2 (M U M U M U2 M' U M' U M' U2) F2? or is that very bad?

3) Parity: for switching UBL and UBR, UB and UR you do
y T-perm y' Rw2 F2 U2 r2 U2 F2 Rw2.
Thanks for that alg :)

4) Flipping edges - the most pain for me. You can solve it after centers (like, M' U M' U M' U2 M U M U M U2).
Lol, I use that alg on 3x3 (actually M U M U M U2 M' U M' U M' U2). Must have messed something up when I tried it the first time. Silly me :p

I think I'll solve centers first anyway to have a little bit less to think about and a bit more freedom during wings, midges and corners.

Oh, if you solve centers first, you can do 4-movers. I stated that because I do midges first.

Naah, for BU the alg is (B' U R' B U') M2 (U B' R U' B)

In m2 op what to do when there's a flipped edge or the buffer get solved?

When there's a flipped edge, you flip it with the buffer. You can use a flipping alg or just target both sides of the edge consecutively (still accounting for the even/odd thing). When your buffer is solved, you're either done or you have to break into a new cycle.

Same as OP edges. For a flipped edge, shoot to one of its stickers, then shoot to the other, eg for UL flipped, shoot to D, then E (or E then D) for Speffz lettering. If the buffer gets solved, just shoot break into a new cycle by shooting to any unsolved piece.

But how do you memo when you break into a new cycle? Just choose another sticker like I do for corners?

If there's a flipped edge, you will need to flip that edge along with the buffer piece at the end. You can use M' U' M' U' M' U2 M U' M U' M U2 or R' U2 R2 U (R' U' R' U2) r U R U' r'

When the buffer is solved, break into a new cycle. Say for example DF is solved, and you have the cycle (ABCDE) if you solve (AB) as you would normally, you will be left with (CDEA) which you can solve as you would do normally, but remember to solve the first letter at the end as well (highlighted in bold.) So your next two cycles are (CD) then (EA.)

If you're still not sure read this mudaa.

for BU the alg is (B' U R' B U') M2 (U B' R U' B)

or the alternative (B' R B U R2 U') M2 (U R2 U' B' R' B)

I find I make more errors when using (B' U R' B U') M2 (U B' R U' B)...

I memorize edges with audio last and solve them first, and I often find it that I find it hard for the audio to stick in my head. Is there something I can do to make it stick in my head easier?

Just practice by saying the letters out loud, and keep practicing this way until you don't need to anymore. The audio sounds go straight into the phonological loop, are subject to rapid decay and the sounds are more likely to be forgotten if they aren't rehearsed regularly. So execute them quickly.

And try using pairs from this list. I used one syllable words for corners rather than sounds like BaH CuL GeS and found they worked better for me.
