There's no advantage to any one orientation over another really. White/Green is official scrambling orientation, so that's the reason to use that, but choose any orientation you fancy.

Do you usually count all the edges/corners that you have solved while/after you're doing your memo? Or do you just disregard the number of swaps with the buffer you've done?

I can currently solve 3x3x3 with full OP. I'm looking to progress to a new edges method. Should I learn TuRBo or M2?
As for corners, when I'm ready to move on, what method should I learn?

E: What is a good time to aim for in one month?

I use TuRBo because I suck at M slices, and because the method confused me at first and I didn't want to learn the algorithms and keep track of the M slice.
However, most people use M2 as their intermediate method and it makes learning 4BLD a lot easier, so I'd recommend it. M2 is actually quite simple.

I think there's not really an intermediate corners method. So 3-style would be next.

No idea. It depends hugely on how much you practice.

Do most BLD solvers who form sentences for memo have verbs and nouns for most of their letter pairs? Most of the words I make are nouns, which makes sentences difficult to make.

For each letter I have a noun and a verb, easier to make sentences.

I use OP/M2. I've use a visual memo for corners since its faster and more accurate (for me). I want to use visual for edges, but the m-slice messes me up, so I'm using a letters/sentences memo. Should I change to turbo, keep using letter/sentence, or use a new memo method altogether (probably rooms, I like the idea)?

M2 is good for transitioning into commutators later if you want to get faster. I'd say stick with it as TurBo might only get you a little faster but long term benefits aren't that great. You can use visual for edges, it's just harder and you need to count and make sure your M-slice is fine

Now my question. What's the best way to execute lefty obliques? I used l2 but I don't like it that much
