Maybe the guhong is different plastic. If maru lube works better on the guhong, by all means stick with that

You only need a small amount of traxxas. It's super easy to gum up your cube with it. I always end up wiping a good amount out. If it's gummy, wipe out some of the lube. It works fine for both of my guhongs. I still think you put more on than you thought or intended.

It might also be that the guhong is naturally smoother than the other cubes, and that's what is making you feel like it's gummy. I personally avoid Maru since it only lasts for about a day.

Traxxas diff oil, traxxas diff lube.. whatever. Get 30k and 10k if you can. I'm not a fan of 50. If you can only get one get 30k.

If it's a hobby store like Hobby Town, U.S.A., then you are referring to shock oil; if its a hobby store like Hobby Lobby, then I don't know

I would just go to Home Depot or Granger and get PTFE spray or silicon based gear grease

I'm considering to buy differential oil, Should i buy 10k, 30k or 50k? I probably have the possibility to buy two, which ones are the best?

Yup. I think it is the same.
Go with 30k and 50k. A friend of mine has both of them and they feel awesome!

Yup. I tried mixing 30k and 10k for pieces and it worked well. Only 10k makes the cube a bit fast.

I like 50k more for the core.

I know that a bottle of 1.75oz Traxxas lasts a VERY long time. I have lubed a LOT of cubes with it.

Well for one you need to put that in the cube..

Traxxas is VERY thick, and 50k is (in my opinion) too thick for the cubies. I use 10k which is plenty even when used in a very small amount.

So if you only have the 50k, clean out the cube and I would put a drop on two of the most important contact spots, and leave it at that and work that in. Cubes don't need much lube

and its only the guhong i have problems with. lingyun zhanchi panshi are all fine. maybe ill just go back to maru

But people say Traxxas 50k is too much for cubies, and I have just 2 lubes with me right now: the aforementioned and Maru. What combination would be best? I have a Zhanchi.
