Hardware store Lube

What lube should I use, that I can buy in a hardware store. I don't want to go to trouble of ordering online.
Thank you

Kir

I got 50k online
However I got a bottle of 30k from a local rc (hobbyist racing cars, remote helicopters, etc) - that's the max viscosity...
And I prefer the 30k to the 50k for the latest set of cubes I got.

Qiyi Thunderclap is slow

I'm not sure if this has been posted before, and this is my my first post so tell me if I'm doing anything wrong.
I got the Qiyi Thunderclap before many reviews came out, and at the time it felt perfect, being about a 45 second solver. Then the factory lube dried out, and it's now quite slow.
I've tried wiping it with paper towels and washing it in warm soapy water to clean the lube off and see if it would speed up, which didn't work, and lubing it with weight 1 and weight 4.
I've also played with the tensions a lot. Nothing helped. The lube made the turning smoother, but it looks to me like there's simply too many contact points in the mechanism for it to be fast. But everybody on YouTube seems to have a fast one, so I was wondering what I could do to make it faster.
Thanks!

I haven't bought any lube for my cubes yet, just been using whatever comes from the factory. But, I'm working on a order and wanted to ask - about what Cubicle weight is the lube that come in most modern cubes? i.e. - if I want it "a little faster" then I presume I'd get one weight lower but I don't know where to start from. Or maybe I should get the the variety pack (one each of weight 1-5) and play around with it...

If it matters, I mainly use an Aolong v2 and Yueying.

Thanks!

I disassembled everything and made sure not to get any of the hardware wet, and it was already slow before that. I thought I had over lubed it which is why I washed it in the first place. But I never knew that that stuff rusted, so I'll be careful and make sure to use a bad cube if I ever try underwater solving. Thanks anyway.

Both of mine are extremely fast. You may have gotten a bad unit.
