Funny thing I was playing around with
Step 1: V with a color. The V can also have the opposite color(Basically it can be white and yellow if its the most optimal
Step 2: OBL(CLS or smthn idk)
Step 3: DR(?)
Idk just solve the rest of the cube from there

//Solve #1

L U' R2 U L2 U F U' F2 L' U'

x' y' //Inspection
//V on D layer
U2 R U R' U R U2 R' //OB(L)L
U' F2 U F2 U2 //DR ig?

//Solve #2

U' R2 U' R U2 L' U F' U2 F U'

x2 y //Inspection
//Psuedo V on D layer
R U2 R U //OBL
F R U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R F' //PLL

//Solve #3

U2 F' R2 F2 L' U' R F U L U'

z' //Inspection
//V on D layer
U' R U' R' //OBL
y' U' R2 U R2 U //2 Look DR
R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F' //PLL(Alt alg: R2 U R2 U' R2 y' R2 U' R2 U R2 U')

not optimal but its something
I wonder how many algs ii would need for the method
Recog would be pretty bad

I am making a fmc method which is quite similar to this where instead of pseudo v you do pseudo half face which is solved most of the time(if not every time) there are 55 algs for the pre domino reduc step
Ps: your method is actually pretty ok for fmc considering that step one takes no more than one move, step two takes a average stm of 5(yes I genned the algsbfor this method while making my method as this is a subset)
And the last step probably takes like 6-9 moves. Adding that up, that is probably around 13 moves which is not bad considering eg also averages 13 moves.
But yes this is probably not good for speed

Hi everyone, here is video TN method Techniques: Pseudo TNTS (English Subtitle).

Pseudo TNTS is an advanced technique in TN method. It forces a TNLL step from the third slot when last two slots have an edge is solved in one and the pseudo VLS F2L case in the other slot. Additionally, it is a combination of Pseudoslotting and TNTS, retaining the properties of them.

Hope you enjoy it.

Isn't this just a slightly modified ribbon method?

@TuanNgoTN is there a beginner method version not requiring 9XX algs?
There is no beginner version of TN method but you should learn it in the following path: Full CFOP -> WV -> VLS (UF, UB, UL) -> VLS (UFUB, UBUL, UFUL, DOT) -> MCT -> TTLL -> TTLL +, TTLL - -> VLS (Wrong Edge) -> OLS-FE -> TPLL +, TPLL -.

why not something like this

Beginner version of TN method can be:
2-look TNLS: EO -> OCLL, WV (with MCT)
2-look TNLL: CPTNLL -> EPLL or CPLL -> EPTNLL (Double Bar TNLL)
But I recommend to learn it according to the above path because I used to follow that path

3 - EO + DBR - This is 1 of 305 algs (not genned, didnt have enough time to) that solves EO (alone has 5 algs) and the DBR corner.
made an error and accidentally generated zbls, fixed it, and there is 65 algs, all genned now.
I was gonna make a cp version where it solves DBR and permutes (not orients) DFR to allow for 18 CP cases but would be very algorithmic.

So for CP, you can learn CPLS, or add a maximum of 4 moves to your LS that permutes the corner, to do 18 algs for CPLS

Or, you can do a slightly different start to do CP early.

This is :
1x1x3
CP (permute bottom corners, look at the permutation, do a short alg, or do it YruRU style).
1X2x3 - use ruRU moves to expand the block to a 1x2x3
2x2x3 - use rRU moves to expand the block to a 2x2x3
BRudDaR - use rRU moves to solve BRudDaR, will gen algs.
EO - use rRU moves to solve EO+DBR, or EO currently genning algs.
DBR - solve using R U, depending on whether you did eo alone or with it.
LS - last slot.
OCLL/EPLL, 2GLL.

CP is only really needed/wanted in OH.

So I've been working on a method for about a week, and it's called Aurora. It's not meant to be a super viable method, but something fun to do and solve the cube with, while not being 100% trash (or at least that was my goal). So here are the steps:
1. Build a petrus block and move it to dbl
2. build a 1x2x2 in dfR and do R'
3. put the back right pair in front right
4. solve the lxs slot in the front while doing "eo" (there will be one misoriented edge on the u layer because of the false f2l) there's 6 cases I have made all of the algs if you insert the edge in first
5. rcll: orient and permute the remaining edges while fixing f2l. 108 algs I genned all of them
6. Epll

Another variant is to solve CFOP diagonal pairs, do the R’ and third pair, fourth pair with eo (I should mention that this is rosiness, and thus the pair can be misoriented before insertion). Then end with your preferred rll technique (discussed below).

I am also entertaining the idea of doing more for peopair, maybe something like orienting the last layer into the basic case and then solving the cube in one look. Other things could also be possible. The possibilities will have to be tested and the algs genned, which I will be working on.

This is a work in progress and I am working on alg genning and seeing if there would be a better finish like rll (though there would probably be way too many algs, though if it were learnable I would do it (learnable being less than ~550 max)).

(Yes, it had to start with a pertus block)
