Sounds like an E perm. Have the front left corner color facing you match the left edge piece (there should be two sides you can do that) and do

R B' R' F R B R' F' R B R' F R B' R' F'

It's similar to an E perm, but the corners are criss-crossed like this:

That is an H-perm, do a U2, and then look at your page of PLL's and I'm sure you'll find it. If you really can't find it, use this alg, it's the one almost everyone uses. M2 U' M2 U2 M2 U' M2

Ahhhh... I see it now.
Thanks everyone for your help.

What is an effective way to improve your pre-inspection time?
What are you doing before inspection that you want help with? Assuming you actually mean inspection time, try to see ahead as far as you can and use all the time you have. Also practice without a timer just seeing as far ahead as you can track pieces.

I've been stuck at sub-30 for about 5 days now. Any tips on surpassing sub-30?
Cross- I can do the cross in 2-4 seconds.
F2L- I normally have a 2-3 second pause after the cross, I can do F2L in 10-20 seconds. And I'm trying to find ways to practice look ahead.
2-Look OLL- I use Badmephisto's 2-Look OLL and I can average from 3-6 seconds with it.
PLL- I currently know 15 out of 21 PLL algorithms the 6 algs that I do not know are all 4 G algs (a, b, c, and d). And the remaining 2 are the N algs (a, and b).

Firstly, finish learning PLL. G perms are the most common PLLs (but N perms are the least common, so leave them until last) and aren't as hard to learn as they look. Just learn them slowly; one a day is a good speed to learn algs for me.

Also, if you can't already plan your cross in inspection, learn to do so. That way, you can look for your first F2L pair while you solve the cross, and there won't be any pause before your first pair.

For lookahead during F2L, turn slowly. Try to never pause. Once you find a speed where you don't need to pause, start to turn slightly faster, and if you can still lookahead then increase your turn speed again. One thing I found helpful was to turn quickly when I knew what I was doing (e.g. once I've seen my next pair), and to turn slowly when I didn't (e.g. if I hadn't found my next pair). That let me get times even faster than before I tried looking ahead. Slowing down your turning sometimes can get you better times. Just don't pause!

Also, 5 days isn't really getting stuck [emoji14]

I recently got back into speedcubing and I decided to learn more algs for 2x2 and 3x3.
If im going to learn CxLL, what should I learn? I use ZZ and Roux so I need something that I can use for both.

COLL can be used for ZZ and Roux, but if you're going to use Roux, then CMLL can be much faster. There is some overlap though.
COLLs are really bad for 2x2 though. Learn separate algs for the 2x2.

Thanks for the answer
I guess Ill have to use coll/cmll for 2x2 and roux, and use corner orientation algs+pll for ZZ.

Would it be beneficial to do partial solves repeatedly as a new speed cuber. For instance I am very bad at cross and F2L averaging approximately 8 second cross and 40 second F2L. Clearly these two places are areas where a lot of speed can be realized. Especially if I can push F2L down to 15 seconds.

Would just doing crosses timed and blindfolded crosses without finishing the cube and doing full F2L timed runs be beneficial or should I stick to full solves and just get repetitions?

If you have some specific weak points you will likely improve faster if you focus your practice on that. Of course you should not forget about LL or your algs can start to fade :)

Well I don't really have specific strengths right now as most all of my cubing is a weakness. I need to learn the PLL and OLL algs for 4LLL as well as push my F2L and Cross times down significantly.
