If you take this common alg: (y2) R' U2 R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R U' F
and remove the (d') rotation, it becomes <RUF>:

(y') F' U2 F' U' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R U' F

Other algs from the (y') angle:

F r2 R' U2 r U' r' U2 (R2 x') U' R' U L2 (U' x')
L2 D R U2 M' U2 x U' r U2 R' F R U2 (x)

F U' F' U F2 R U R' U' F' R' F R F2 (U)
F U' F' U F2 R U R' U' F' U F2 r U r'
F' U R' F' R U' R U R2' F R d R U2 R

@Brest, cool F perms.

I might learn some ZBLL/OLLCP or any other type of hax (useful for 2 handed 3x3 CFOP).
any thread/alg list/method recommendable?

...some list of most easiest to recognize and execute maybe?

for ollcp, i would HIGHLY reccomend checking out this thread

http://www.speedsolving.com/forum/showthread.php?34146-Useful-OLLCPs

another thing you might be interested in would be rls or rv

another one thats nice is coll.

thanks brest. i really like F r2 R' U2 r U' r' U2 (R2 x') U' R' U L2 (U' x'), i do it more like this

F r2 R' U2 r U' r' U2 x' R2 U' R' U r2 u'

thanku!

yeah, i saw RV and thought it's cool
i'll... learn both RV and the OLLCPs in the thread
not sure on which to work on first though but tysm :P

edit: about COLL... i know a couple, might learn more

i think ollcp is worth practising more because its easier to recognise than rv.

although i kinda got lazy with it and have decided to stop using ollcp and just use coll.

Replacing Lw with R makes it to a well know CLS,

Yes I know, I use it for BLD (it's really a nice alg for 3OP corners). I discovered my alg precisely by trying to replace L by Lw in the original alg and seeing what I got.

but even if I could orient the last 5 corners and 4 edges, how to continue the solve?

No idea, I posted this alg only because the OP was curious of such algs.

For Skewb:
I solve my Skewb by picking a center, insert corners and orient them(on top layer) then I put the bottom center in place which usually solves one of the middle centers also. Then I pick the center that is in the middle (of the remaining three) and put that at the bottom(Up,Up,Down,Down) .This is done four times to complete the centers.
So here is the Alg. Request: Is there an easier way of doing this "U-like perm" (and H and Z also as they might come up sometimes too)

EDIT: Nevermind, I found them here. The picture of the Z is off by a y or y'.

you know the clockwise edge rotation(R2 U R U R' U' R' U' R' U R'), and you know that it rotates just the edges without doing anything to any other piece on the cube. I want to know if there is an easier/shorter algorithm that rotates the edges and the corners won't be the way they were?

Sune: R U R' U R U2 R'
Or did you want to preserve corner orientation?

yeah I want to preserve the orientation of all the pieces but the permutation of the last layer doesn't matter to me(as long as the edges are rotated the way that I want them to, of course)
Well, I would use J-perm: R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R'. I find it faster than U-perm.
You can use any PLL which cycles 3 edges (a PLL which swaps 2 corners and 2 edges can be AUF'd into an edge 3-cycle PLL).
