Argh, I'm such a dummy. Thanks to everyone who posted helpful algs, but I now realized I requested the wrong F2L case! Yikes!

The correct one is below. So yeah, starting from the case below but assuming the pair needs to be inserted NOT in the FR slot, but in the BR slot, anyone have any good rotationless algs

U2 r' U' R2 U R r U R?

Does anyone have a good M2/OP parity alg for corners first? The standard one doesn't work, unless you switch the M slice targets - but since I memo edges first, I'd then have to go back to fix my memo. I can't even think what pieces would need to be swapped to generate my own alg.

R' F R F' R U R2 U2 R

Did you came up with / looked for that now or do you really use that in solves? If there are like 42 F2L cases, times 4 possible target slots it's a ton of cases to know them all. My F2L is 99% intuitive and, because of that, probably fairly inefficient but it would be a real hassle to learn a lot of algs for F2L cases.

I'm not sure if theres specific alg. I use such solution: I just swap UBL and UBR - this means one extra target (UBR) to corners - and after edges I do: M2, y L2 Tperm L2. Swithiching UBL and UBR is very easy when you use 3-cycle because UBR with UBL buffer is one of the easiest cycles with every target.

My F2L is 90% intuitive, only recently have I started using F2L algs and algs are kinda my thing. You can easily be sub 10 with fully intuitive F2L. Maybe easy is not the right word, but you are not at a significant disadvantage.

I don't use 3-style though, I use OP. I am practising 3-style and do intend to switch in the near future, and in fact I will probably use something similar to that when I switch, so thanks for that!

Ideally I wanted to have a single algorithm to be done between corners and edges which would mean I didn't have to change my edge memo in any way. Is this actually possble?

I used that way with OP too. I dont think such alg is possible - parity means 2 corners and 2 edges to be fixed. But if you are before edges which 2 edges to fix? Especially that M2 doesnt affect corners which Y-perm does. It's complicated. But maybe I'm wrong and there's such alg...

i always try out triggers on cases to see what happens, I made that up myself because after you do sledgehammer you can just do R U R' to pair it up and then R' U2 R to insert it into the back so then I just did some cancelling

I always try out to see what a sledgehammer does to a case with a non-oriented edge

It wouldn't just swap two edges - it would also need to do something to the centres and the M slice. For the cube to be solved after you do the odd number of edge targets, the alg would need to do an M2 to the centres - but then I wasn't sure what would happen with UF and DB. Surely they would have to remain in place for your edge memo to still be the same, but then how would you solve them with the centres not where they were when memorising?

That's why I don't think it's possible, but it's weird that a parity alg isn't actually possible this way round whereas it is for edges first. That doesn't seem right for some reason - that's why I wasn't sure. But you're completely right, the only possible thing would be for only the two edges to be swapped, then some other impossible thing to happen afterwards. Thanks for the help!

I think I need a sexy Ua algorithm ( [R U'] [R U] [R U] [R U'] R' U' R2 doesnt work for me well)

Check out algdb.net, for common sets like PLL pretty much all of the best option are available and you can see which algs most people prefer. Personally I like the alg you posted, but I also use R2 U' R' U' R U R U R U' R and R U R' U R' U' R2 U' R' U R' U R.

i need all optimal algorithms which solve the F2L and CP and preserve EO on this scramble:

L U' L' U2 L R U' L' U' R

(don't count AUFs towards movecount)

10htm is optimal.

Cubex only found 3 algs:
L U' R U R' L' U2 R U' R (10f*)
L U' L' U2 R L U' L' U' R (10f*)
U' F U' F' U' R U' F U' F' R (11f)
