no worries. Your alg was still useful. Did you also have an alg for the case I mentioned? I'm curious...how do you handle it when you come across it?
I don't, sorry. If my choice is between that and another pair, I'll almost always go for the other pair. I'll go back to that pair when the corner's orientation changes, because then it's much easier to solve quickly.

For the case below but with the cube rotated y', are there efficient ways to insert it. I know that's it's relatively quick to rotate y and do U' (R U' R' U) (R U R'). But sometimes I would prefer not to. Rotationless or M-slice algs would be nice. thanks

I've searched through the OLL wiki and OLL database and only found 5 OLL's that make use of M2. From the OLL alg database they are: 28, 32, 45, 75 and 77. Does any one know of any others that also use M2?

Try R' U R U2 R' U R' F R F' R. Just a quick little alg I just came up with. IDK if it's the best or not.

How can I solve 3 corners in Heice method?

Hello all!

ah2Mo5rKZqw.jpg

How can I solve the following position optimally?

Now I use the following variant:

F - Orange side

(F2 D2 L2) - Setup move
(L R D2) (R' U' R) D2 (R' U L') - Main alg for permutation of three corners
(L2 D2 F2) - Back move

Total I used 16 movements.

It is possible to make the best and easier?

Thanks for answers!

Yes, thats the case TDM! Let me know of any other fingerings for the same situation.
I prefer [U2] [y] R2' u' R2 u R2' because that has R moves instead of L moves, but you have to rotate to do it...
Personally, I like to completely avoid the case because I don't like any algs for it. I'd just do other slots until the corner isn't oriented that way before doing that pair. If I had to it though, I would just do double antisexy U' L U' L', similar to what you said originally.

F R F2 R B' R' F2 R B R2 F'

Varian from Tall Pawn
L2U'R2U'L2UR2U'L2U2L2 Green is front (11 moves). This seems easier to remember and execute to me. It's optimal and its actually just the sequence most people use for moving corners around on cuboids with a few setup moves.

Setup (L2U')
Main Sequence (R2U'L2UR2U'L2U)
Undo setup (UL2)

Thanks, one more question, what alg do you use for SS case 25?(d' L' U L d R U' R') I rarely see this situation in the pros reconstructions which seems to mean they either turn it into SS case 26 or have a way to avoid it.

F' sexysledge: F' R U R' U' R' F R
The inverse is good too. Neither of them affect the orientation of edges either, so they're useful for ZZ etc. too.
[U'] [y'] R' U M U' R U M' is nice if you like M moves.

Is there an alg for multislotting this case?

I've been playing around for a while, and can't find any nice way of doing it yet, just ways to set up the second pair quickly.

an alg for the F2L case whwre the edge and corner in the U layer above the front right slot
the cross color facing you on the corner with the edge to the left of it and a bar on top
the usual alg I use is U R' F R F' U R U R'

But i need an alg that keeps edge orientation on the top layer

Edit Nevermind I found a soltuion
insert the edge with R U' R U2 then insert corner with triple sexy
