Try this:
U2 F U' R U R' U F'
I reversed this on a solved cube and see that this solves the case when whites on top of the edge when in the front left slot of the front face. This is a cool alg and I'll try to use it if I happen to be at that angle, but I was wondering how to solve it when the corner is in any other spot besides directly on top of its edge pair. Thank you tho DNF! :)

Anybody have algs for the FP (face permute/fan's pyraminx) method?
I searched all over the internet, but all links that I found aren't available and I can't find them on the wayback machine. Any help?

Can someone please give the best solution for this F2L case without a cube rotation? I am badly struggling with this F2L case:

Note: I am talking about the orange-blue F2L pair that goes into the front-right slot. The edge is misoriented in its own slot and the corner is above it.

You want white side to be parallel to the line between the 2 pieces. And preferable opposite colors.
As a beginner I would do U2 to have corner on back white pointing towards front.
Then take edge up. F'
U to move both away from front slice.
F to get front back.
U to get corner in place over slot.
aka U2 F' U F U
Now you have opposite colors on top.
R pairs up.
U R' to insert.

Not tried it in real life, but that is the thinking of the beginners F2L method.
See the J.Perm video on F2L

In the post above, one poster talks about his variation on Roux which goes as follows:

Do first block
Then place BR corner
Then do CP (6 algs, I have them genned)

I have no idea how to figure out what these algs would be.

But 6 algs to solve L6CP sounds intriguing enough.

How could I find out what these algs are? Or gen them myself?

Thanks.

Does someone have a better alg for ZBLL AS 44?
the best one I was able to find/gen was this: U F (R U' R') U R' U2 R2 U R2 F' U (R U R U' R')

Optimal (RUL) alg has regrips but you can do weird stuff with it to make the regrips less bad:
R U L' U R2 U' R' L U R2 U2 R U R2

This is weird (regripless?):
f R U R' F U' f' R U R' U' r U' r'

Different angle for the same alg (regripless):
F U R U' B R' F' L U L' U' R B' R'

This seems promising (regripless):
R2 U R2 U2 R U R2 D' r U2 r' D R' U' R2

(Note: I don't use any of these, and I haven't drilled/timed them either.)
