Is that even possible? If I remember correctly you can only rotate one center 180 or 2 centers 90.

Correct. Rotating just one center 90º is not possible so, @Eme, if you happen to have a supercube with just one center off by 90º just must have assembled it wrong.

Thank you a lot, guys. I was solving my YJ heart cube, which has very similar pieces, and I got a single centre twisted at the end.

Whenever I'm on customer trying to do the scramble i can never do it right am i doing it wrong F would be a clockwise face and R would be the right layer turned upwards D would be turning the bottom layer to the right and i do it like that but i never do the scrambles right I learned the notation of of Crazybadcubers tutorial on it.
Start with green in front and white on top

Is there any scrambling software allowing to get directly to the last layer phase in order to learn OLL?

Can you make a video about it our a give us an explanation
Okay, so here it is: TFOP(T-style F2L OLL PLL). This method is based on how I used to build the F2L when I was juuust starting CFOP. the only difference here is that the steps i used I do for all slots for each step, not slot-by-slot.
here are the steps:
1.solve the Cross
2.E-slice Edges, so solve the edges of each slot
3.insert D layer corners with 3 algorithms(1 algorithm is triple sexy/sledgehammer, and 2 are mirrors of each other)
4. Last layer of some sort.

Jtwong71 tried it , and first try got sub-20.
after some practice, he was able to reliably get sub-15 with this approach. So it has the possibility to be faster than a normal LBL after some practice, so people don have to learn a new method until they are reliably sub-20. At that point, its just some practice with F2L and you know full CFOP(since it was originally the way I learned F2L, remember!)

any thoughts on this? remember that this is intended to be a beginners method(yet it actually can be somewhat fast)

Just a trivial question. What do you tell the beginner to do when the D corner is in the correct spot but misoriented?

I don't see why this should be faster than the LBL method. And I don't see how this can be more easily explained to a beginner. The main difference is LBL solve D corner first and the edges, whereas you solve the edges first. Can you explain what the advantages of solving edges first are?

I would tell the beginner to go and take it out with a move like triple sexy(easy to teach) or another algorithm that You usually use for inserting an oriented D corner, then use another algorithm to Re-insert it.

heres an average of 5 for both methods.
note: Both times, a 4LLL was used for consistency.

what is the alg it doesn't work when i do R U R' U' R' F R F'

do either a triple sexy move or a triple sledge hammer.
also, you could do some ornientation preserving alg like R2 U R2 U R2 U2 R2 or something. but i like the triple triggers better.
do the triple sexy move with cross on top of the edge ?
