I've been speedcubing for over 2 years, and currently I'm struggling to become sub-20 :/ does that make me below average when it comes to rate of improvements?

What is the best method then?

Roux and CFOP are, in my opinion, the two fastest 2H methods. I prefer Roux, but others like CFOP. The main reason for CFOP's popularity is that it's easy to progress to from the beginner's method; Roux requires more effort initially, but after a bit of practise that "advantage" CFOP has is no longer an advantage.

You can read about four good methods here; I'd recommend reading through that post and deciding which method you would prefer. I don't think choosing between Roux, CFOP or ZZ matters too much, but few people consider Petrus to be as fast.

Totally agree. Only comment I'd add is that, unless you are already familiar with the cube and some concepts like edge orientation, ZZ can be a bit discouraging at the beginning as the EOLine stage is a bit more difficult to grasp than CFOP cross or Roux FB. I only have seriously tried CFOP and Roux myself, also had some successes with ZZ but I cannot say I am anywhere near proficient with it so maybe I have some bias here.

I have tried Roux and Petrus. The thing is with Petrus is that I dont know what "bad edges are" . After building a 3x2x2 you must flip bad edges but I dont know what bad edges are and how to flip them

Bad edges are misoriented ones which cannot be solved using either U or R moves (ie they must use F or B). If you've tried ZZ it's basically the same as the first step

What does it mean when someone says "I'm sub 20"? Does it mean his best average of 5 is 20 or he can consistently (like with 80% chance) do average of 5 below 20, or his average of 100 is 20?

imo its you have to be globally sub-x, I think most people will agree with that though you differ as to what globally means.
The best way I've seen someone put it is: "it's the time you would tell a random person in the street you can solve a cube in" therefore I would say around 18 though my ao100s are sub-17

Hi,
Are there any people who can get sub 10 seconds with Petrus? I heard alot about it using less moves then Fridrich. But why are so many people using fridrich if Petrus and Roux use less moves?

Because it's more algorithmic and hence easier to get fast quickly by just spamming algs at high TPS. Roux and Petrus require a bit more thinking so, the learning curve is less steep, meaning, it takes more time to get fast with the method, I guess.

I am from the Netherlands and bought a Moyu Weilong v2 from a dutch site. The small white box with a picture of zemdegs says Weilong, but the squares are slightly curved towards the middle. I looked up pictures on the internet and it 100% looks like an aolong. When I look up pictures of a Weilong v2 all the cubies are square. But all my cubies on my Weilong are slightly curved exactly like an Aolong. Is this normal?

Take a corner and edge out and send a photo. There is a forum thread devoted to that: [Help thread] Is my cube / puzzle a dud? where you can get advice, in case it is a fake or, as you suggest, maybe just a different cube.
