Ok. got my first 4x4 today, and I keep getting stuck. Two sets of middle pieces are flipped (ex. Yellow/Blue, and Yellow/Green). They are both orientated correctly. Everything I look up flips more than just those two edges and I end up getting in the same place. This is a brand new V-Cube, and I mixed it up so it has to be solvable.... I'm just lost.
At what part of the solve are you stuck?
I think you have Permutation Parity.
Try r2 U2 r2 Uw2 r2 u2 where lower case = slice and w=wide

If it's not the alg ellwd gave you (2R2 U2 2R2 u2 2R2 2U2) then maybe it is this case:

x' 2R2 U2 F2 2R F2 2R2 U2 2R' F2 2R2 F2 U2 2R' U2 x

Or try the Wiki: [WIKI]4x4x4 Parity Algorithms[/WIKI] <- Scroll down until you see a picture of the case you have and then choose an alg

mind if I request 57 algs instead of an alg? XD

strictly oll cases?
made these because of the immense amount of spare time I have
most of the decent algs are probably a mix match of OLL(CP), PLL, CLL and ELL
so, most likely I will only learn a few of them :/
and sorry for the kinda confusing layout

Sorry for this lazy reply:
You can find those in any 1LLL list: http://www.speedsolving.com/wiki/index.php/1LLL (see External links).
Or you can use Acube for searching them, if you have so much time. :)

Help with these F2L Algs

Guys, I know that most recommend either (URU'R') or (RUR'U')x3 for SS F2L 23

1)When in the BR & BL slots I use (ULU'L') & (U'R'UR)x3 are there better algs for those?

2)Also are there better F2L algs for these variations of the same F2L situation:

U R' F R F' U2 L' U' L

U R U' R' U R U' R' L U2 L'

I can do all of these algs pretty fast.

1) Yeah pretty much. Another is R2 U' R2 U' R2 U2 R2

2) For the second alg try this, it is pretty nice. R2 u R2 u' R2

Someone pick a L perm for me please. I literally jump between these and can not choose. I am pretty much the same speed with all of them but I need to stick with one and practice it.

Tell me why you suggest the one you do if you

F2 L’ U’ r U2 l U R’ U’ R2

R' U2' R U R' z R2 U R' D R U'

R' U L' U2 R U' R' U2 R r

R' U2' R U R' z R2 U R' D R U'

R' U L' U2 R U' R' U2 R r

I use both the third one and the last one depending on AUF.

But generally the last one seems to be fastest.

Oh whoops, sorry, you're right. And darn it, I forgot about N perms completely :(

So, what are the most common ZBLLs?
I'm guessing they are the sune + G perm combinations?

What is the 3x3x3 alg for adj edges top and opp edges bottom?

I know opp/opp is M2 U2 M2 U2

Try R' U R U' to set up the opp/opp swap, M2 U2 M2 U2, then undo the setup moves.

Or R2 U' R U2 L2 D2 L2 U2 R U R2. From cubeexplorer.

#25: y R U2 R' U2 R' U' R U R U' R' U2 R' U2 R U'
#37: y R' U' r U2 R' U' R U' r' U R' U2 R2 U R2 U R2 U2

I need an algorithm for when the corners are swapped in a X shape on the pll, but google's not showing anything.

Thanks :)

That is just U2 of an H perm(What it is more commonly referred to as). Here is tons of them, I use M2 U' M2 U2 M2 U' M2 .

Also known as X-perm (and you can find on the speedcubing wiki, although it will redirect you to the H-perm :) ).

What is the best method for this F2L case?

I have trouble with this case often, usually, I separate them by doing L' U2 L (If the orange side is F). Is there a better way?
