I don't really like the idea of "paying" 8 moves more for correctly permuted corners :/
That's why I proposed that you just learn that ZBLL subset (Sorry I don't have any algs though)

Any good OH algs for the awkward shaped OLLs?

I'm using right hand by the way.
(L' U) (L U2') (L' U') y' (L' U) (L U F)
z' (U L') (U' L2) (U L) x' (U L') (U' L' F') z
l U2 L' U' L U' L' l' U2 L U L' U L
x' U L U' R U L2 U L U2 l'

good or not, those are the ones I use.

If I were holding this cube such that blue was in the front, how would I insert this pair into the BR slot? Any rotation-less algs? Or how do you guys go about inserting this?

thanks

thanks guys. Really appreciate the algs! What about for this similar case?

Same as the other case, if I'm holding the cube such that blue is in front, how do I insert this pair into the BR slot? Any rotation-less algs or how do the experts treat this case?

I just figured this out lol. Pretty nice alg.

4x4 edge pairing, using E-slice for pairing.
Is there a decent alg for pairing the last 2 edges where they aren't on the same slice?
Rather than what I do now, which is (flip), slice, (flip), /slice
(I'm a noob at big cubes)

Using Yau? If not you can just do an R2 or something similar instead of the first flip. For Yau, depending on where your edges are in the E layer, something like R' U R2 U' R' might be faster as your first "flip".
I don't really know anything faster than Flip-Uw'-Flip-Uw for this excact case though. Maybe use R U R' F R' F' R as your first flip, then the inverse as your second flip for better finger tricks. Or actually use the inverse for both flips, which has no regrips.

Edit: Brest, I think he is talking about the case where both edges are in the E layer and you have to flip twice to solve them...

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I'm using Yau. I'll try experimenting with a variety of flips. Cheers.
