That's a good idea, I. think its best to get the hard things out of the way first so that the rest is easy. Also have you learned PLL yet? I would recommend that first.

Oops, I definitely do not ue 4LLL, i use full PLL and 2look oll.

I was also thinking i might just practice recognizing the OLL case when i get there in casual solves for awhile since i dont really feel like learning new algs right away and recognition has to take some serious practice since it’ll be the largest alg set I know.

Yes, anything that shaves a second or two off is a help. In most cases knowing full oll will save a little.

Yes of course full OLL is really worth learning. I avg 21 and know Full OLL, a few COLLs, and some WVs. If you learn full OLL now, then you can focus on F2L later

only some ollcp cases. The ones that are of use. ZBLL cases i reccomend learning them when you are sub 8.

It's not as difficult as you might think. Some of the algs are mirrors, so learning those two is not as difficult.

I was reluctant to go from two look to full but I am glad I did.

Just always keep finding things to add, don't get too comfortable. After full oll, then find some(more) algs for f2l, learn more finger tricks, and practice better look ahead.

Just as with anything, take it one at a time and get comfortable before starting the next.

Also as to your original question; look at all the top cfop cubers and see that they all use full oll. It's not a coincidence, it does help.

if you are slow (say >30 sec avg) then learning full OLL is a distraction from working on fundamentals of cross and F2L

Yeah F2L and cross are more important and have larger gains to be had for sure but knowing full OLL will definitely improve your times, even if just marginally. OP said he averages 19s...

"Best" is subjective; try as many algs as you care to learn and go with your favourite.
