Yeah, I know where I could find the algs, but I just want to learn them kind of as a side project. Kirjava's algs consist of Sune/Niklas/Fruruf/SexyHammer variation combinations, so I thought it would be easier to learn.

If they're easier they're worse. Just learn good algs, it's 1000x better in the long run

Many of the algs for OLLCP really aren't that better, since OLLCP is kind of underdeveloped. My estimate is that Kirjava's OLLCPs have an average movecound of 15-16, and since their all easy and well-known algs, they shouldn't be too much slower than regular OLLCPs. You have a point though. I guess I'll just learn like 100 of the good OLLCPs.

btw why does fun at the joy like every one of your posts, is it to purposely boost your reaction score?

Seriously, can someone get Kirjava's OLLCP page back online? I want to learn it too but I don't want to spend too much time learning it. I estimate I could learn Kirjava's OLLCP in less than a month easily, and I could probably sub1.5 or at least sub2 each of them, which is pretty good. If I learn"good" algs than the most I could do would be sub1, which isn't really that much better. Also, my EPLL recognition is way better than regular PLL recognition, which means my LL time with OLLCP hax would be pretty much the same as my LL time with regular OLLCP. If anyone has it, can they please give me a copy of Kirjava's OLLCP hax table?

Only he can bring back his page, and also, do you even know what's a Wayback machine?

Don't learn these algs, it's like learning easy PLLs. I could probably get decently fast with them and they may be easier, but it's not worth it. Put in a little extra effort and double the reward

I was trying to learn the Hahn method, but on the speedsolving wiki, it says to solve the UFL and UFR corners in Step 3. This will lead to a L4C, but the 4 corners are not on the same layer, they are 2 diagonally pairs of corners. Are you supposed to conjugate the corners and use a L4C algorithm, or are you supposed to solve the UBL and UBR corners instead?

Are there any sizeable benefits to learning some F2L algorithm cases after using intuitive for 2 years? The concept of algorithmic F2L confused me at first but I would like to know if there are any algorithms I should learn for certain cases that are "Bad"? (My F2L split is around 4-5.5 not including cross)

I know this is a little late, but, in short, yes. The goal with every part of solving is to learn how to do a step and intuitively understand why it works, and then upon becoming comfortable with it, shift it away from intuitive understanding and more into self-taught algorithms that can be executed instantly. Because you have a good base with F2L, you should definitely at least go through a list and compare your solution to each one given to determine if your intuitive solutions are worse. If they are, switch. If they aren't, then great! Move on to the next case.

I agree. But for most F2L algs, try to understand them intuitively, as it improves your knowledge of the cube. I've looked at F2L lists and improved efficiency by using those cases, but I've only learned solid algs for maybe 3 cases, everything else is me seeing the best solution and understanding it intuitively. Because of that, my knowledge of the cube is higher than most CFOPers my speed

Thanks, Guys! I don't think I will learn very many algs, only 5-6 at most with those being the funky last slot cases that I can't find good solutions for.

I completed full oll recently and know how to execute the algs fairly well, but when I see a particular oll, I can't recall the alg which I need to perform so I have to look it up. Is there any way to improve this?

This site could help you. You can select the cases with which you're struggling, and just drill those.

Like you guys recommended to me, I am learning the good (recognition and execution) WV cases. The question I have is: Should I also mirror them and practice them with the left hand? And if I insert the second last pair in front, it is best to just insert (R‘ U R), right?

Yes, practice them lefty and back slot, but don't try to learn separate algs but just try to mirror them by yourself

Is it plausible to use twisty pll to recognize a 1LLL case and then use pure OLL so you can do 1-look 2-alg last layer? Would this be slower then just using regular OLL and PLL?
