How do most pros tension their 3x3? Do they keep the tension out of the box or do they loosen it or tighten it?
And how do you get even tension on all six sides?
It's all about personal preference. You can get the tensions even by looking at how much you can pull the center cap away from the core.

And how do most pros lube and tension bigger cubes like 6x6 and 7x7, because completely taking apart a 7x7 and then reassembling it again seems like a hell of a job.

You don't need to completely take apart a cube to tension it you just have to take off the centre cap and adjust the screw to make it tighter or looser.

Hey guys,
I'm new here and to cubing. I have almost solved my cube and all the pieces are in the right place except UF and UB just need to be flipped around. Could anyone help me?
Thanks,

You can, for example, do the following:

y (rotate so that the flipped edges are now on UR and UL instead of UF and UB) and then:

T-perm + L' d L' + T-perm + L d' L

I'm sure there are faster algs to flip two edges but that's what I would do while solving blindfolded with OP for edges and it will work :-)

If you don't know how to do a T-perm it's: R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F'

Or you can check PLL algs on the Speedsolving wiki here.

Sorry if I gave too much information, bus as you said you were new to cubing I didn't want to take anything for granted, even though you clearly know how to name stickers / pieces

Is it possible that my stickers are throwing me off? On one hand, I have a MoYu HuaLong, and the stickers are kind if faded (My main since April 2015). On the other, I have a really well set up GuanLong. The stickers are perfectly fine. But for some reason, I seem to be getting better times on the latter. Is it because of the stickers, or is it possible that the cube is just better?
Thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, wrong thread

A hard debate in my mind. Is OLL worth it? Or is learning methods with EO better??

It definitely will help your times, and although there are a lot of algs, they're almost all very simple and easy to remember. So yes, it's worth it in my opinion.

However that's not saying you shouldn't learn other methods - you can learn tricks from them which can help your CFOP solving, even if you don't want to completely switch method.

A hard question. CFOP or CFCE? CFOP has more algs but better recognition(?) and CFCE has less algs but worse recognition(?). Help me choose!!

I think they're about the same speed. For each method, I know:
CFCE: most CLLs, few ELLs
CFOP: most OLLs, all PLLs
and I get almost identical times with both of them, even with very little CFCE practice. However, ELL recognition can be a bit tricky, as you mentioned. I'm not experienced enough to say whether or not ELL recognition can be done quickly by someone who regularly uses it, so the best I can say is: it probably doesn't matter. Go with whichever you enjoy more.

It's when the corner's edge is lined up with the boundary b tween an outer and inner layer. When you corner cut reverse, it sort of backtracks.

If they are flipped, you got a lucky H perm that makes the cube look close to solved. This can be fixed with an extra algorithm to learn that flips 2 edges, but since you are a beginner, I would finish the yellow cross (or whatever color you are doing) with beginner method and pretty much everything else with beginner method. However, if the 2 pieces are swapped, but not flipped, then you have probably broken you cube before and put the pieces into an unsolvable position. This can be fixed by manually taking out the 2 pieces and swapping their positions with each other.
