Does anyone have a winter's variation alg for this case?

Any other way to do this G perm?
R2 U R' U R' U' R U' R2 U' D R' U R D'
R2 u R' U R' U' R u' R2 y' R' U R

edit: also R2 B2 R' U2 R' U2 x R D' R' x' U' R U R B' R2

i like the RUD version theoretically but I just seem to have trouble getting it fast.

I used to use y2 R U' R U R2 D R' U' R D' R' U2 R U' R' U' R2 (regripless if you start with your right thumb on BR), but then I stopped using CFOP and forgot it :p

Possibly. I do remember judging your first two pyraminx solves though. :D

I was very quiet back then. I haven't posted in the fprums much because between working 50 plus hours a week and college, when I have time to cube I just practice practice practice. Im trying to get more involved in the community now though, hopefully start going to more comps and meeting new Michigan cubers

I have already solved one side of the 6x6 using general reduction and have built the cage around the opposite center. I would like to be able to lift center pieces up into the cage but have only been able to lift up the four edge center pieces. Was wondering if anyone knows any algorithms to piece by piece place center pieces in, and also how to place in the 4 center pieces. Thanks

I'm not sure but you should maybe look at the [WIKI]Niklas[/WIKI]. The alg [2R, U' 2L' U] may help you. It just moves 3 X-centers. The alg [2R, U' 3L' U] moves 3 obliques.

x [(R' U R') D2] [(R U' R') D2] R2 and x' [(R U' R) D2] [(R' U R) D2] R2 are the A perm algorithms I use. And my question is ( if you use the algorithms) how do you guys do the D2 moves? I usually do just about the whole algorithm with my right hand ( both algorithms) including the D2 moves with my ring finger then my middle finger on my right hand. These A perms are now my slowest PLL algorithms because of the inefficiency of my D2 moves, so i am now trying the D2 moves with my left hand and its disastrous. I try to use my ring finger followed by my pinky finger and i've been practicing this for a while and its just so slow and im not improving. So I am wondering how do you guys do them and if there's no hope for me, are there any other A perm algorithms?

when u randomly twist the cube, incorporate lefty D2 turns just to get used to it. don't change A perm alg, this is the best one.

or, try the lefty mirrored version of the alg so u can do right handed D2s if that's any easier for you.

I am using the cage method for the 6x6 but am stuck and need 3 different algorithms. I need an algorithm that can lift the outside center pieces up one layer(not the corner edge pieces), lift the inside center pieces up one layer, and to orient and permutate the fourth layer edges for different situation. I posted a picture with my current situation, and if you have anymore questions ask away. Thanks IMG_20150306_194451.jpg

I need a center commuter algorithm for my 6x6 cube. I need to able to lift up the middle edge pieces without messing everything on the cube up. I have included a pictureIMG_20150308_133641.jpg and help would be greatly appreciated.
