I editing my post adding algorithms and I was ready to save changes, but being as stupid as I am, I tried to close another tab first and ended up closing the whole window... Don't worry though. I will regenerate them and add them.

I was wondering if you wanted me to generate L4C algorithms as well. It would be a lot of work as there are 84 algorithms, but I am kind of curious whether solving the L4C like this will be fewer moves than L4C with 4 corners of the same layer. Also, as an added bonus, I can try to pick algorithms for L4C and this that create the most cancellations although you may be just as well off picking the easiest to memorize algs and learning a few multiples.

Edit:
I just did a short test and there are more 9 move sequences that are possible preserving this frame of pieces than there are preserving the frame of everything but the last 4 corners in a layer. That's a good sign.

I'm looking for some OH VHLS alternatives to (R' D')(L F L' D)(R2 U R')... split pair with all bad edges. That alg isn't great for OH.

Really I'd be happy with only flipping 2 edges with a split pair in order to avoid a Dot OLL. Something easily F/B and L/R mirrorable is preferred.

I guess this isn't the best for OH, but I would probably do this for orienting all edges: (R U' R')(R' F R F') U2 (R' F R F') it's really just creating the pair, canceling into a sledgehammer, U2, then another sledge. It's pretty bad, but it's what I use. For just flipping two edges: U2 r U' r' U' r U r' EDIT: this is the same one scottishcuber posted, but ironically I just figured it out without seeing his post.

Yeah, I found that one myself a while back... not very worth it in a timed solve, but I sometimes do that one when I'm just doing slow solves.

As for the one you and scottishcuber gave, it's pretty fast... and a decent alternative to the normal VHLS alg I use for that case: R U' R' U2 R' F R F'

y' R' U' R U y R U' y R U2' R' F'

Best I can do I'm afraid :S

Better than nothin! But I suppose I'll stick with the other alg you gave. I should just get better at edge control :-P I did an OH session last night where it felt like I was getting dot cases 1 out of 3 times.

I want a easy to learn V-perm Alg. Can someone tell me one? (I looked on the wiki, I just don't know what one would be easy to learn)

R' U R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F is the 'standard' alg,
the one I use is different. Just a moment. I need to find it.

EDIT
R' U R' U' R D' R' D R' [U D'] R2 U' R2' D R2

If you don't want it to be very fast and just want to learn it so you can do 1lPLL, then I used to use:
(r' F R F') (r U r') (F R' F' r) (U2 R U2 R')
before I found any decent algs. It's very easy to learn, but isn't particularly fast. I use guysensei's, which is faster, but probably not as easy to learn.
