Hello, can anyone derive an algorithm use to permutate the corners (not necessarily to orient them) of the U face as I insert the last F2L pair in the R U R' insertion case wherein all of the edges are oriented? Specifically 6 algs, 4 adjacent swaps+1 diagonal swap+1 no swap case.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I am looking for short algorithms (<12HTM) that affect only a few pieces (4 at most). The pieces don't have to be in the same layer.
Some examples:
2 2-swaps of edges (like (M2 U2)*2 or (R2 U2)*3)
2 2-swap of corners (like (R U R' U'')*3)
Pure flip of edges (like (M U)*4) or corners (like L' D2 L F' U2 F L' D2 L F' U2 F)
2-swap of corners and 2-swap of edges (like U R2 D' F2 L2 U' L2 D F2 U' R2)
3-cycles that affect the orientation of piece(s) not involved in the cycle (Like some of the L4C algs)

I don't think anyone has algs like this, unless they are easy cases (like the ones I posted) or shifted algorithms that affect only the last layer (like the example for the 2-2 swap I posted, which is actually an optimal T-perm shifted one move to the left). But if anyone would bother generating a few algorithms, it would be great. (possible expansions to the request may include algs affecting 5 pieces or 12HTM algs).

Thanks in advance

P.S.: in case anyone wonders, I am interested in such algorithms for FMC

IMPORTANT EDIT:
I found most of the algs I was looking for by looking at ALL the pages in "The FMC Thread" (actually the first ~150, until my first post there).
If you are interested in some of the algorithms I was looking for, you can ask me here or with a PM/email.

Can anyone who has cube explorer set this cube position up and solve allowing all moves and pm me the solutions up to 16 moves (copy and paste makes it easy)? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Herbert Kociemba posted a picture of how it would look in cube explorer 2 posts down.

I know no pieces that are shown are misplaced, but I have a reason for that. Rather than searching every case independently and having someone have to check each one, I'll just go through all of the solutions that preserve what is shown and find an alg for each case.

Sorry that it is kinda hard to see the colors. Please get them right so it doesn't have to be done twice.

R2 U R2 U R2 U2 R2
x R' U R U' R' U R U' R' U R U'

I know those 2, but I can't see if there's somethin in the LL to preserve (I see Y/B, nothing else)

Well, I don't actually have cube explorer or I'd do it on my own. I also don't know what it looked like, just a general idea of how it works. Thanks for posting that picture though.

The reason for having UF and EB solved is so I don't get solution to cases that don't have opposite edges opposite. I will have simplified to this by the time I get this step.

I'm assuming the striped pieces just need to be oriented?

Of course you have the choice not to use the program. But I do not understand then that you request other members to use it for you unless your tried it yourself and failed for some reason you could describe us here.

I also do not understand that you write that no pieces that are shown are misplaced. I think the DFR corner is misplaced.
