It sounds like youve either made your centers incorrectly or you have PLL parity. r2 U2 r2 u2 r2 Uw2 and then PLL. Doesn't matter where you place the corners.

Turns out I was making the centers incorrectly. I was just remembering what color was opposite what color, rather than following the color scheme.

I just switched two opposite centers and I was fine.

OLL 17 - y2 x U R' U' r' x' R2 U R U' R' U' M'

I don't think either of those f2l cases get much from BR being open.

thanks for the alg. I realized that I I was a bit confusing. I meant that the BR is the slot to be solved , not that it is open and if there was an alg that utilizes that. So is there any good algs for cases 17 and 23 when you are holding it after doing a y' (BR is the slot be solved then) ?

better CLL algs for the following cases
These are the cll's I use
1.ULF'z'R'UR'U'RU'R
2.B’RBR’U2R’U2R
3+4.same as your setup

Can someone help me find find the following
1.a good j-perm alg that also flips UF and UL
2.a good j-perm alg that also flips Uf and UB
