Obviously it's not standardized. A lot of people probably do repeated sexy move or a T perm.On YouTube, whenever someone opens a cube, I see them do an algorithm to test the turning. What is that algorithm?
What for?Can anyone provide me a list of Algs which permute pieces between 2 opposite layers and leaves middle unaffected?
Experimenting with solving middle layer first and then solving from there. Might be really inefficient or an already existing method, I don't really keep up with methods or cube theory. What for?

The whole "belt method" thing Is kinda what I was thinking of, I'll look into this, thankshttps://www.speedsolving.com/forum/threads/lcbm-long-comeau-belt-method-guide-and-algorithms.30102/
The OP of this thread might have the algs you are looking for, but it seems to be very algorithm heavy.
<R, r, U> Subsets for PLL's only solve Edge Permutation, so it can only solve U, H, and Z Permutations.Hello,
Is there a list of plls in <R,r,U,> or can someone gen one please for me? I like that moveset for OH
Thanks
also H perms<R, r, U> Subsets for PLL's only solve Edge Permutation, so it can only solve U, M, and Z Permutations.
Same effect on the corners, so you still can't change corner permutation.Ok, if I expanded to <R,r,U,u>?
Thanks
Yeah, fixed that.also H perms
Thanks a ton!F U L' U' L U' F' (7f*)
F' R F U2 F' R' F (7f*)
L F U F U' F2 L' (7f*)
L' D2 R B R' D2 L (7f*)
B L2 F L' F' L' B' (7f*)
Last one will also orient all edges.
