The other suggested algorithms were very useful! Thanks a lot. I think it is always a good idea to use commutator notation as this will help the understanding a lot.

E.g. r2 [U R' U' B' R2 B : l2] r2 shows that U R' U' B' R2 B is a good way to insert BUr into UBl without affecting the l-slice.

Also
U' l2 U l' D2 l U' l' D2 l' U can be written as

U' l [l U l', D2] l' U

and hence be viewed as having a two move setup, and lUl' insertion into the D-layer and a D2 interchange. That is very easy to understand intuitively.

Finally: Rw2 U2 l' U2 Rw' U2 Rw U2 l U2 Rw' U2 Rw' can be written

Rw [ Rw U2 l' U2 Rw' , U2 ] Rw'

and we see that Rw U2 l' U2 Rw' is an nice way to insert DFl into UFr without affecting the U-layer.

Indeed.

On pages 3-5 of my 2 2-cycles PDF, which has algorithms for all 58 2 2-cycle cases in the last layer, there are a dozen such cases. I have at least one algorithm for each.

I'm sure this has been asked on the 232 pages of this thread, but I'm not looking through them all!! but is there a quicker F(RUR'U')(RUR'U')(RUR'U')F' for the H on OLL and 2look OLL as this seems to take me quite a while despite being three triggers, or at 40 secs should i focus on F2L rather than alg speed.

Focus on your F2L. then work on your LL. Don't do timed solves for a while, then time algs, and work from there
