Maybe, but I'm not just looking for easy OLLCPs. The only way I'll remember them is if I memo a whole set at once and then never use OLL for that case again. And I don't want to filter through all the sets and find the ones that are easy.

Oh, you're talking about a specific OLL set... You can probably find really good OLLCPs for the r U' r2 U r2 U r2 U' r case or F double inverse sexy F' case, and the OLL case which is 2 1x3 bars

LUR only NO FDB cube

I put strip of clear tape going over F D B centers including FD and BD edges. now the cube can only be scrambled or solved with LUR moves.
picture of tape on cube

I wrote a scramble generator but it needs work before I can share it. right now it outputs U R L R' L' U' (cancels to 0 moves) or U R L R U (cancels to U R2 L U).

I am working on a complete system that can be used for fewest moves and speed solving. the F2L is almost exactly like CFOP but with less algorithms. I think we do not need a tutorial for F2L. however, after going through the various methods and algorithms found here, I noticed that the LUR (or FUB rotated to LUR) algorithms do not always exist for each case. I can use multiple algorithms concatenated to get the algorithms I need but they will probably be a lot longer than optimal. M2 D? M2 is allowed but it also is a reduction of R2 L2 U? R2 L2 U?. FUB can be used as is with a setup Dw or d.

any help would be appreciated.

not sure if trolling.... anyway, if you want a tutorial, you should check out Phil Yu's (asmallkitten) ZZ video tutorial on youtube. leave out the EOLine part of course...

As others have said, the third most widely used speedsolving method involves reducing the cube to your "LUR only NO FDB cube" and going from there. The good news is that you're on to something good, the bad news is someone already beat you to it (Zbigniew Zborowski to be precise).

lots of links in the ZZ wiki are dead. one of them redirects to porn. I scooped up this PDF with the ZZ. ZZ is not strictly for a bandaged cube. for example I see some D moves that can not be executed but they are a minority. I made this thread to talk about algorithms specifically related to this type of puzzle and it got moved to puzzle building and modding?

EDIT: added bobthegiraffemonkey's E PLL but removed cube rotations. added username's T, G PLL.

I made the E PLL using the F PLL twice with U2 in between. I could do the same for the G PLL with U PLL + A PLL but it is easier to memorize as a two look anyway. is it possible to have a shorter E? can someone help with the T perm?

E: z D' (R' D' R) U (R' D R) U' (R' D R) U (R' D' R) U' D
T: R2' U R2 U' R' U L' U2 R U' R' U2 L R' U' R2
R U' R' U L' U R U' L U R' U' R U R' U R U' R' (from Cube Explorer)

Not really looked at the rest.

Ga: R' U2 R2 U2 R2 U' R2 U' R2 U2 L U' R U L'
Gb: R' U' R2 U R2 U' R2 U2 R2 U2 R2 U L' U R' U' L
Gc: R U2 R2 U2 R2 U R2 U R2 U2 L' U R' U' L
Gd: L' U R U' L U2 R2 U' R2 U' R2 U2 R2 U2 R' U2

T: R2 U R L' U2 R U R' U2 L U' R U R2 U' R2
