Ok thanks!badmephisto's algs are quite old. I would suggest going to algdb.net for a lot of good algs.
The first thing you need is to free your brain so that you can actively lookahead and, for that, you need to do the current task in "auto" mode. So, make sure you can do F2L pairs blind (I'm assuming you use CFOP but, same principles apply to Roux or other methods). Once you can do that (you can even practice to find a pair and then close your eyes and solve it blind) then you need to start to consciously stop looking to the current pair while you solve it and look for the next one instead. If you need to turn more slowly to be able to do this then slow down, you will be able to turn faster eventually with practice. Same applies for cross-to-F2L transition, if you can plan your cross and do it blind you will be able to search for your 1st F2L pair during cross. What is the best way to learn look-a-head. My Look-a-head is 0% and I got ao1000 36.231 lol quite bad

Then you are halfway there!I am able to solve one F2L pair blind
It's difficult to see where the edge piece is. The "white" piece isn't hard to find but to find the edge piece is difficult. I should practice thatThen you are halfway there!
Yeah, it requires practise. I'm nowhere near good at it yet but it can make a lot of a difference once you start to at least do it a littleIt's difficult to see where the edge piece is. The "white" piece isn't hard to find but to find the edge piece is difficult. I should practice that![]()

You should practice till you can solve a f2l pair without thinking, then you can spam TPSI'm currently learning f2l(about a week now) and i average sub 45, while i was sub 40 with LBL+4look last layer. I can do pretty much any case intuitively and i've learned some 4-5 algs for weird cases too. I haven't exactly started with the lookahead thingy and i struggle after i've completed my cross+ when i can't find two pieces of a pair at the top layer.
In a nutshell, i'm currently feeling pretty lost(as fredrich help thread suggests i should be sub 30-39 until i should learn full pll). Should i improve lookahead or just practice solving f2l pairs blind or be able to solve any case without actually thinking first?
btw i'm opp color neutal with error of ~5 for yellow cross
If you ever find that you can't find pieces, it's a sign that you need to stop timing yourself for a while. Having the timer running always adds pressure, and it leads to panicked searching rather than calmly seeing the pieces right in front of you. Do a lot of untimed solves until you feel like you always know what to do next. By a lot, I mean don't time yourself for a week, but do lots of solves in that week.I'm currently learning f2l(about a week now) and i average sub 45, while i was sub 40 with LBL+4look last layer. The two kinds of practice I've found most helpful for lookahead are slow-solving, where you turn as slowly as you need to to not stop throughout a solve, and planning out multiple steps and doing them blind (right now I can reliably do F2L with two looks). One thing I noticed about myself is that I stop extremely often while doing F2L.
I feel like drinking bleach whenever I film myself and see myself stopping every now and then for no apparant reason. My lookahead is 0% plus I often do cube rotations instead of AUF. Currently sub-45 ATM T_T
suggestions pls ~~
Sammeer Mahmood has a tutorial on his channel.how do you recognize CP for sune from the sune angle? i can recognize easily from the antisune angle, but for the regular sune angle i have to look at stickers besides the ones on F and U, which i find to be a bit troublesome. which stickers should i look at?
