(y z) R' U R' D R2 U' R (U D') R' D R2 U' R D' (z')
(z) D R' U R2 D' R (U' D) R' U R2 D' R U' R' (z')
(z) U R' D R2 U' R (D' U) R' D R2 U' R D' R' (z')

which Na is generally considered the fastest/ most widely used?
just realized that 1 and 3 are pretty mush the same alg, it just does one move at the end at the beginning.

Need a better algorithm for CPLL

Hi guys,

I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong section. But I have a problem with a corner orientation algoritm from the last layer. I learned from badmiphesto 2 look PLL the

R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2

It is very slow for me.

So tried this one which I found on youtube yesterday:
(R U R' U') R' F (R2 U' R' U') (R U R') F'

I have done it like a million times, but the last part (R U R') F' is just not something my brain will adjust after doing (R U R' U') R' F (R2 U' R' U') in front of it.

Does anyone have an alternative algoritm?

is this for T-Perm?

because i'm prettysure that's like, one of the de-facto algorithms for it

what exactly is the problem with executing this?

That first alg you posted, Marcel, is the clockwise U-perm. I prefer it to any other PLL when I'm doing 2-look. However, I perform it differently: l' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2.

I find those D2's easier to fingertrick than the B2's.

And if you do prefer the T-perm (that second alg), then keep at it. It's a really nice alg, but it doesn't come easily (to me, at least).

You could try a J-perm: R U2 R' U' R U2 L' U R' U' L

Yes, I really like this one! Thanks!

You also could do the same first alg you posted from a different angle: x R' U R' D2 R U' R' D2 R2

Oh wow, that one feels also really fast. Thanks

I find those D2's easier to fingertrick than the B2's.
That is so true. I find it slow to move to a B turn. But my ringfingers are always ready to perform the D turns.

MarcelP, that first alg you posted is a corner permutation alg, not an orientation one. It can be done as follows:

(x') R' D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R2 (x)

It is called the A-Perm (a) and is usually performed quite quickly as shown here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0he7qjz3Hw

If you are still stuck, here's a video showing one way of fingertricking it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umSzO5A1vek

Yes, sorry permutation orientation.. all difficult words for me. I do'nt even think there is a dutch word for permutation. LOL. I watched your videos. Man, you are 1000 times faster than me. ;)

SS F2L case 15 alg?

For SS F2L case #15 I use y'(R'URU')d'(RUR'). U(R'FRF')U(RUR') doesn't work for me because of the R'FRF' and the other cases are too long, are there any other fingertrickable algs for case 15?(Trying to find a short fast alg and I'm a lefty that's good with the right hand).

I have been doing the z perm and the h perm for a few days now. My fingers are used to them now. But still it takes quite some time to execute them. Does anyone have a vid where I can see how fast it should be?

I mean these:
M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2
and
M2 U M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M U2

Uhm...an F-perm in the <M,U,R,F> group. M, M', or M2 is required. Thanks. Even algs that are not so decent will be appreciated.

(R'U'F') (RUR'U') (R'FR2) (U'R'U') (RUR'UR)

M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2

M2 U M2 U M U2 M2 U2 M U2

for Z-perm, use an RU-gen maybe! R'U'R2U RUR'U'RU RU'RU'R'

need a very good <F,R,U,r> gen R-perm(with or without r moves) that swaps UFR<->UBR and UB<->UL
