Anything as long as it is flagship (my main is a budget cube and I'm sub 30)

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
Both cubes have great performance but the RS3 is heavier and has more natural stability. While the tengyun is extremely fast, quiet, and soft. If you don't know how to set up cubes very well get the RS3 since the Tengyun needs a lot of slowing down to become usable for most. Also I have used the tengyun on and off but the RS3 was my main from around January 2019 to June/July 2019 when I switched to the Valk 3 M

I am learning the tripod method, and I have learned about a quarter of tripod LL. The problem is, I'm not sure how to recognize different cases. The method I am currently using is just to imagine the corners and edges twisted and flipped and see them as a pll case, like shown on ws.binghamton.edu/fridrich/L1/ece.htm. This method is, as you can imagine, very slow. Do any of you have any better methods for recognizing tripod LL cases?

You can recognize the corners with coll/cll recognition, then just check the orientation of the edges as the permutation of edges for tripod ll stays consistent with the corner case.
I think Chris Olsen (cyotheking) has some videos on CLL recognition if you are interested.

Oh I see. I know CLL recognition and I was just wondering about a faster possible way to recognize edge permutation, but it turns out I don't have to. Also, are there any places where I can get better(more fingertricky) tripod algs? The ones on the website I found are not the best for speedsolving.

I tried JPERM's challenge to solve the full cube using only JPERMs, but I am stuck and going nuts now!

a Pokedex or somewhere near you.
You have all the edges solved, I don't know how you would solve it using J perms because J perms swap both corners and edge, and it doesn't twist anything. You could do Sune to orient all the edges but the edges will be disrupted since 2 J perms are a U move. Do something like rotate and do two J perms to do R and then U using 2 j perms and then do things like that with the rest of Sune.
