You have a corner twist. Physically turn the corner into the solved position.
If it's only that corner and it's happened multiple times, it's an impossible case. You have to either twist the corner back or take a few pieces out to twist the corner back.
Thanks all! Blows my mind how this could have happened - I didn't even realize I could do that, let alone how it could have happened... so not a parity, more of an anomaly?!

Do any of the top solvers even use half-centres? Last time I checked (admittedly, over a year ago), the top people all did full centres.

Like a spring kinda noise? I think just lubing generally helps but I'm not an expert on anything hardware
no it's like a zipper noise like as if you where zipping a jacket I tried lubing it and reassembling it but it's still created the zipper noise..

I started practice 4x4 3 weeks ago.

What is the ideal/normal ratio of the time between reduction using Yau's method to the time spent in the 3x3 step?

At the moment i'm spending around 1min05s on Yau reduction, and 30 seconds on the 3x3 step

The ideal is 1:1 ?? 30 seconds Yau + 30 seconds 3x3?

Generally Yau refers to the whole solve, but presuming you’re referring to the park up through edge pairing and before f2l. I may be wrong, I’m just going off of glancing at the timer while I’m solving, but I think f2l and LL should be a little less than half the solve. I average about 1:25, and I think I normally finish reduction about 40-50 seconds and f2l between 1:00 and 1:10. I’m pretty sure 3x3 stage is the weakest part of my solve.

the term Yau that i was talking about is until when the edge pairing ends, hehehe, sorry i expressed it wrong

3-2-3 edge paring is by far the worst for me

I'm averaging ~2:15 on 4x4 with a weird Yau-Redux combo. I do Centers->White Cross(edge pairing)->3-2-3->3x3 Stage. I do that because It's like 30 sec faster than me just doing normal Yau, although I don't have much practice with yau. What should I be practicing to improve? Also, my 3x3 average(3x3 puzzle, not 3x3 stage) is ~20 seconds.

My advice is you should do the full Yau method.

White/Yellow centers
3 white cross on the left side
Last 4 centers
Last white cross
3-2-3 EP
3x3 stage

Your time will get worse at first, especially in the part of the 3 white cross, but over time, it will be very fast.
Is that not even when you switch from layer method to F2L at 3x3, at first your times will get worse, but with a lot of practice, your time will be so fast.

I can't do the last white cross on the left side, i need to rotate, but i will practice soon.

This is my experience, I'm new at 4x4, but practicing for 2 months and I my avarage is 1:15~1:20
