  • My 4x4 times have dropped 20 seconds from 1:45 to 1:25 with a 1:04.508 single! Probably because im actually getting into 4x4 now. Theres a chance it may become my main event. I dunno yet though. We'll have to wait and see :D
    Hi
So at fortissim2’s(I think) profile post, you said that you didn’t know what a quote was.
So, at the bottom right of someone else’s post, there will be a +Quote button. Click on it to add it to your multi-quote.
After doing that, at the bottom left corner of your post, there will be a “Insert Quote button.
    EccentricSensei

Click on it, then click on ‘quote messages’
The result will look weird, but when posted, it will become a quote!
Sorry if you already know this, just trying to help. :p

Met another cuber at tennis comp today. Sadly I wasn't brave enough to introduce myself. Its always nice to see cubers out and about!

Yeah, that part’s pretty hard. For the longest time I couldn’t get myself to talk to this one guy, but it payed off when I did. A lot of the cubes I meet are slow, but it’s always nice to talk to someone who kind of understands what’s up.
Started learning 3-2-3 edge pairing so I can hopefully get under the cutoff of 1:10 at a comp. I average 1:35 now, and the comps at the end of this month. I doubt its gonna happen, but im trying anyway. I've learnt around 40 OLLs so far
I've been practising a lot of 5x5 recently. My goal is to qualify for Melbourne Cube Days 2019, and hopefully make second round in 2x2 or 3x3. How fast do you need to be make seconds round in those events?

I've also been practicing a bit of OH so I can hopefully qualify for that. My 4x4 times have gone down to 1:40 now so that's always a good thing
Learnt 28 OLL algs. My goal is to learn them all for Melbourne Cube Days in about a months time. I wouldn't mind becoming more neutral on Red Cross too

    I gave up at 38...
    But learn them all!
Now one tip: I don't recommend learning algs before a comp, so it's probably a better idea to only do a few more that have good finger tricks in them before the comp, then learning the rest.
Good luck at your competition though!

Nice! I've been personally practicing on 2x2 lately, but mine popped this morning, so the internal center won't get back on. Unfortunately, it was already having issues with turning and tensioning, and it was very catchy . Any recommendations for good budget 2x2s?
By the way, what's your best single (non-reverse scramble, it doesn't have to be in comp) ? Mine's about 3.07 and my best average was lucky and got 5.74 .
