How in the world do you people find algs? I need to be able to generate a large(ish) number for a 4x4x4 method that I'm working on.

Can you guys suggest some (RUF) Ga, Gb and Gd, Ja and V perms that are easy to fingertrick (a little bit long is okay)? I'm quite clumsy with regripping so I don't like rotation and can't do the double flick U D' or U' D properly.

Ga: idk
Gb: F' U' F R2 u R' U R U' R u' R2. This one is almost RUF, and it regripless, rotationless, and doesn't have any double flicks.
Gd: R2 F' R U R U' R' F' R U2 R' U2 R' F2 R2. This is the inverse of the normal RUF Gc perm.
Ja: F U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' F'. This one is [F R U' R': T perm], so it's very easy to learn.
V: idk

While its always good to try to find algs which suit your turning style and which are comfortable and fast, I think you have too many turning restrictions.

With a bit of practise you can get comfortable with all of those move-types and open yourself up to a larger selection of algs. And you will get faster...

On a 4x4. I have every edge paired but the middle centers sliced over one.

Is there an algorithm to slice it back without messing up the edges again (or I guess just a series of moves to fix the middles?

I wasn't planning on this, but when I got to my last 4 edges I found out that in this solve I could slice once over and love the rest of the edges.

I guess a second question would be is there a better method to solve the final edges when you can just slice to complete all four?

Edit: For now what I did was make it so the centers are whole again, flip two of the edges, slice back over, do the flipping algorithm, and slice back again.

Can I get an alg for the H perm and Z perm on 4x4 that uses the r and l slices rather than a 2 layer thick middle slice? Thanks!
