PLL by far. PLL will improve you a little bit more than OLL in my opinion, and it is MUCH easier to learn, PLLs are longer, but the last few moves are intuitive anyway, so they are really easy to learn, plus many of them are similar, such as T and Y. I would recommend that you get a little faster with F2L first before you learn PLL or OLL though.

I already know the 7 OLL cases sooo, another question, for F2L how can i become "faster", without all those algorithms?

The last case in Step 2 of the OLL

Algorithm as follows :

R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R'

I may be retarded but everytime I try this alg I get one corner piece that is not correct (white on top instead of yellow)

Tried again a few times, double checking everything. Algorithm must be wrong.

Pretty sure I am not. All the other cases are fine and I did this one about ten times making sure I was doing everything correctly. Unless someone can confirm that the algorithm is correct I'll have to say there's a move that's wrong somewhere. I just checked the animation.. How is that D not counterclockwise? My brain is fried.

So a U move and a D move basically go in opposite direction? How does that make sense.

The algorithm is correct. I provided a link to an animation so you can see how it works.

Here is an animation of the alg: R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R'

Yes I just figured it out. I still think the annotation is retarded if you're going to do moves like if the down side was on top. It's misleading. You're basically always doing these moves while D is at the bottom anyway.

B, D and L are all "opposite" in terms of notation of F, U, and R respectively. So R = L' , U = D' etc. It's standard notation though, and once you get used to it you won't think twice about it. Their directionality are based on if you're looking at the stickered part of the face. So looking at D from above and doing a D move looks counterclockwise (looking down at the cube with U facing up) and so you would think it should be notated D'. But if you were to look at the stickers themselves while executing the D move, you would see that they indeed rotate clockwise.

woaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.. I've been learning all this **** incorrectly since the beginning. That is retarded.
