Okay guys.
I used alg. for my f2l.
i've been speedcubing for exactly 4 months now.
I average 15-18 sec. usually early 16s and late 17s
what i mean by speedcubing is the day i got a sub 1min solve.
Okay and how many algs i know for my f2l??
hehe
164.
41 standard cases * 4 different angles.
and 78 more for LL.
which is 242 total.
i dont know how i got that all in my head but i'm just and "algorithm guy"
i like to memorize those hehe
okay. now the real part. Int vs alg.
first of all, what do you think is most important on f2l.?
diff angles? look ahead? empty sloting? muti slotting?
i'll vote for look ahead.
now compare int, and alg.
you can actually learn f2l intuitive in a day.
you just gotta understand from a vid. or something.
on algs. if you do it pretty fast you can memorize it in a week, and or even more. sometimes months. it took me 5 days. hehe
if you do it intuitively, i guess you have to practice alot to be able to look ahead, which means you'll be able to do it not seeing.
what does that mean ?
do it blind folded??
muscle memory!
which means you're making your own algs for your f2l.
and trying to cram those 41 case in you memory at the same time, just trying it again and again.
hmm. it sounds like im going too against intuitive. sorry didn't meant to do that ,but that's my oppinion.
okay now for algs.
you're going over each algs and memorizing them.
which means you can start looking ahead right after learning them all.
and experience from my friends and i, algs are much faster to get faster.
mmm. i'll say much quiker(takes less period of time) to get faster time.(solving time.)
and even though you use algs. you actualy eventually going to understand how it works.
