Learn F2L intuitively or Memorizing Full Algorithms?

Which one is quicker?

I don't really recommend learning "true" intuitive f2l. Some of the intuitive cases actually have better algorithms, so why reinforce bad habits? A great way to combine intuitive and algorithmic is to look up an algorithm, and do it slowly to see how it works. Instead of then blindly memorizing it, try to recreate it based on what you saw it do. Just my $0.02

I lol'd.
And I tried the 'alg' you posted, that is intuitive, how are you doing it in 12 moves? ;_;

I was counting the rotation as a "move" thought that was kinda obvious. It's not the one I use for that case at least not anymore it was just an example of the difference solutions that are available and how some are more efficient than others.

This is wrong. If your intuition is good enough you will find those 'better algorithms' by intuition anyway.

I did intuitive F2L, but I guess years of petrus and Roux solving make it trivial.

I envy you block builders for your efficiency of cube solving and mastery of intuition. I thought about converting but i'm so close to a huge time drop that its silly. I do love to play with Roux though it is le funsies.

OP I can say that this is the tough part that many cubers, including myself seem to struggle with. finding that optimal solution by intuition take dedication and time, often more than we are willing to invest. I know that I am a victim of this syndrome and I feel as though so many others fit that mold.
