Color nutrality

I am wondering if there are are any advantages of being not color nutral, i struggle to remember what color i solved the cross on when i am doing f2l. If it was the same color I wouldn't have that problem. Should i stop being color nutral? Please help

Spell check.

Stay color neutral. If you forget what you cross color is look at the center on the U layer and it's opposite is you cross color. I do it sometimes too. Or I'll do a green cross and then an orange cross but I find myself making green corner-edge pairs. Not as often as before so it's all practice

Being color neutral has WAYYY more advantage than just one color... like 6 times as much I think you SHOULD practice color neutral more.

Unless you seriously want to get fast, just being opposite color neutral would be fine for you. ie. yellow/white crosses only.

You could try to actively think about your cross colour during inspection or even say it out loud.

I write a note next to each solve in qqTimer to remind myself. Otherwise I stray towards white crosses.
