4x4x4 parity

So i just figured out to solve the 4x4 today, :D however, i keep getting a parity i can't figure out. All the corners are opposite. It happens on all the corners. For example, the green side of a corner in in the orange and the orange side is in the green. The white also lines up. I have all the edges made to solve like a 3x3/ How do i fix this?

You either messed up forming the normal western colour scheme at the beginning of the solve (put the centers in the wrong place with red and orange swapped or something like that), or your cube is stickered strangely. Do M2 Uw2 M2 from any side to swap 2 centers and you should be fine.

EDIT: oops i didn't see waffo's post

4x4 Centers and Edge Pairing Help

Hello! I'm relatively new to 4x4 and I'm using the Yau method. I feel like the bulk of my solve time is spent solving centers and edges, and I feel that that is what is dragging down my times. I find myself figuring out the cross edges centers on the spot rather than having any algorithms for quick cases, which compose most of this stage. Also, I've been using CrazyBadCuber's 6 cycle edge pairing, but I'm still a bit confused on what to do after 3 pairs have been made. Can someone link me to some resouces on 4x4 tips and tricks to fix these issues? Thanks!

4x4 Last 4 edges?

I need help on the last 4 edges on 4x4. I use reduction with free slice edge pairing. after i have 4 solved edges on the top, and 4 on the bottom, how do i quickly solve the last 4? Also, please don't tell me to switch to Yau.

Go watch cyoubx's tutorial on 3-2-3 edge pairing. It's faster and will answer your question

Dude. That's Yau XD
But if by free slice you mean you solve one edge pair at a time, I'd just skip that and find a video on 3 2 2 2 3 edge pairing. It's faster and IMO it's actually easier than the approach your using which is like 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 3 pairing and gets complicated at the end :P so look around for 3 2 2 2 3 edge pairing videos, that's probably best (And is the first step of getting faster)

Doing [4 4 whatever's-left-over] is what I do, and I think that's the best (in my biased opinion).

And that reason is...? I'll be quite happy to learn if it truly is the best (I use Yau BTW).

If you use Yau, 3-2-3. 4-4 leaves nothing left... 3-2-3 is considered the best compromise between move count and awful case reduction (6-2 theoretically uses fewer moves, but you'll get awful cases far more often).

If you want to get faster at the 4x4 the first thing you shoudl do is switch to yau... No questions asked. 3-2-3 is the best edge pairing for yau and yau is the fastest (I really don't know of any other fast edge pairing methods for yau)
