For the 8th edge, form an edge as you usually would (slicing the middle layer) and replace the one you just made with the last unsolved edge on the top/bottom. Now you can proceed to the last 4 edges.i looked at that he skipped over the piece i needed to learn
You should be able to get to having 4 edge "pairs" left after completing the first 8, after that you have to do L4E algs and slice flip slice to finish the last edges.Ive looked all over youtube all the tutorials seems to skip some crucial steps/algorithms to solving the other 5 edge "pairs" and I havent had any luck figuring it out with what i already know. Can someone give me some links where this is shown in a step by step way cause i cant do any more edge "pairs" without breaking up the ones i already solved.
From this info I can deduce that you are trying to insert the edge with just an R or something similar, you need to do a 3 move insert like R U' R' or R U2 R'.look when i try to put a last 8th solved edge ut something else already on the opposit face gets turned into the sloving space
I'm sorry, but we can't be very helpful when you are super vague about your problem. Watch the entire tutorial again, both first 8 edges and last 4 edges, and if for some reason you are still having trouble, then provide pictures and a detailed explanation.sigh i'm just looking how to make more than the first 7 edge"pairs" without screwing up other solved edges or centers
It's called edge pairing, use freeslicesigh i'm just looking how to make more than the first 7 edge"pairs" without screwing up other solved edges or centers
Please understand that it's extremely difficult for us to get a clear picture just from a verbal description. Photos of your cube (of every side) would help a lot.there is no 8th edge i can solve yet i can only get the top fuull followed by the bottom 3/4 full of edge"pairs....HOW do i solve the rest of the edge "pairs" WITHOUT screwing up the ones already solved?
look when i try to putthe eighth edge up another from the opposite face enters the solving space
