If you already know the CFOP last layer algorithms then why would you switch to a method which requires you to learn more algorithms, if your goal is to avoid algorithms? Is Roux a good speedsolving method for intuition and no algorithms? I'm really good at things like F2L but it took me weeks to memorize the Friedrich last layer algorithms.

I only know the 4 or so beginner's method algorithms, so it's not like I'm discarding all of the one look OLL/PLL algorithms.
Oh, I see. Well, Roux uses algorithms as well. There isn't really any method which doesn't. You can solve the cube with a beginner's method using only 4 algorithms, but if you want to solve faster you are going to have to learn a more advanced method and that will in turn require the memorization of more algs. There isn't any getting around it.I only know the 4 or so beginner's method algorithms, so it's not like I'm discarding all of the one look OLL/PLL algorithms.
Well, if you don't mind taking a smaller risk for potentially very big gains you could try SSC which uses only 32 algs in the full method.
CFOP 3LLL only uses 31 so the OP might as well learn that.
Yeah but that's far less efficient and not the full method. May as well learn roux with 2-look CMLL which has 8 algs.

How many algs are in 1-look CMLL?
I'm running the risk of getting blasted by the community for asking this. I've been casually searching the forums, and haven't found a real answer. Is there a specific cube that Roux cubers prefer? I'm going to graduate to a better cube soon. (From the Rubik's brand, and a V3 Cube.)
Right now, I'm leaning towards the MoYu HuaLong. Seems to be a pretty solid cube choice.
Yeah, I learned from Waffo's site. Most of his algs are outdated, but I found it helpful for LSE.
In TDM's signature for example.Where can I find up to date algs?
