[Help Thread] 2x2 Discussion

I'm sub 7 on 2x2 with ortega and would like some tips on how to recognise pll faster. Could someone help?

I don’t think there is an easy way to improve pure recognition speed other than just doing solves. What I do is look for bars (Two of the same color). If you see two opposite colors on one side then the bar is on the opposite side.

Same issue with me i still have pauses but I’m sub 8. Here’s a trick for auf I have. There’s the 2 bar pbl. With the 2 bars facing you you can see the yellow on the left bottom. You can know that with the different colored bars the yellow bar will go with that yellow corner. Just something I do to keep from pausing after pal to recognize auf.
Edit: the pic wouldn’t upload.

Yeah, I have a different trick I use for that alg actually. Go watch the video on ortega that scr has and use his all for that case

Does anybody have any suggestions for a RUF version of these CLLs?
AS2, AS3, H3, S2, S5, and T3?
These are some good algorithms for those cases:
AS2: (U') R U' R2' U R U F R2' F' R
AS3: (U2) F' R U R' U2' R' F2 R
H3: R U R' U R U R' F R' F' R
S2: (U') R' F R2 F' U' R' U' R2 U R'
S5: (U) R' F' R2 U R' F' R' F R2 U' R'
T3: (U) F U' R U2 R' U' F2 R U R'

for those of you 2x2 solvers i need help. with Ortega there is a case with the two bars and i can solve that pretty quick, but the case with one bar is tricky. with this case if the bar is on top i can do it fine but if it's on the bottom i have to rotate to solve it and the rotation is slowing me down a ton. does anyone know an alg for solving it when it is on the bottom? thanks in advance.
