[Help Thread] 2x2 CLL Method Discussion

It's definitely not hard to be CN at 2x2, Lucas isn't CN on 3x3 for example but still is on 2x2. you should know what color oll your looks my for on top, and then you recognize the case from their by opposite colors and same colors.
For Niklas for example: UBL and UBR are opposite colors and then UBR and RFU are opposite,

When not one-looking, is it beneficial predict the AUF every solve, like learning full oll, or just when it is convenient, like knowing the good winter variation cases?

Does anyone have any tips on how to learn full CLL? I currently average sub 4 on 2x2 and sub 3 when I'm warmed up. I have trouble memorising the algs since there are so many.

@cubeshepherd

I learned CLL and it took me forever. I should have been able to learn it in a month. But I got lazy. My advice is break down the algs, learn H then Sune. Learn a set a week. Days 1-6 learn an alg and last day drill them all. Repeat. Its not that hard. Break the algs down into simple moves and watch videos on fingertricks. Most algs should be regripless. PM if you are struggling with any algs. Learn them from here:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...xiMX9a506JeAcLnUXZr8FgXAY/edit#gid=1203930269
The algs may seem odd, but try to learn these. Id say these are the best algs out there. Id you don't get it, PM me.

Edit- If an alg is kinda hard to remember just do the algs over and over and over. I did this for like half a movie and afterwards it was killer.

Edit 2 - check this out http://tobip.ch/clltrainer/

I want to add, most important thing is to actually use the algs in your solves. Because if you don't, recognition doesn't improve and you forget them soon. (<-- managed to learn 3x3 OLL 8 times until it finally sticked ._.)

Using the alg trainer I linked above I managed to learn CLL in 2 weeks without too much effort. And yes, learn the algs from the google doc by Duncan.

Yup! Use LBL and do the CLL you know. If you learn a whole set, then if you get a say H case do the alg. That's why you learn them set by set.

@sqAree- 2 weeks that's kinda impressive. I'm learning EG-1 now and trying to learn it sub month.

@cubeshepherd

Because you know CLL and learn quite a few algs.
