Make sure that when your finished your Ortega layer that you know what face you have on the bottom, and have it positioned to go right into PBL after oll so you don't do unnecessary yes and y2s. You don't need to predict oll every time but it can be helpful when the face is 2/3 moves.hello i am 4,9-5,7 with ortega and to very bad day i do one >6 per 100 times.i cant predict my oll at allany tips for thath to get sub 4?

1 look. ain't that hard. Start with as much inspection as u need and lower the time until u can almost always 1 look in less than 15 secondsthanks a lotand any tips for losing less time to find where the up bar or skip or diagonal case is to go straoght to pbl?

that sounds good.how much time it took you to succeed it?
You don't need to one look to be sub 4 with Ortega, it can easily be done without any predicting at all besides your first faceBy the time I started practicing 1 looking I already could predict OLL so I started predicting cll instead. Took me only a few hours to be ab,email to do it consistently in less than 15 seconds. Once u can predict the cll u need to know how your oll algs affect permutation. Also u don't need to predict AUF.

Yeah but it helps a lot to 1 lookYou don't need to one look to be sub 4 with Ortega, it can easily be done without any predicting at all besides your first face
Imo you shouldn't ever be at he point where your are one looking with Ortega, because at this point it shows your advanced enough to learn CLL, which isn't that ard to learn.Yeah but it helps a lot to 1 look
Well your layer should be 5moves or less usuaally, and When I used Ortega my bar would always be in front if I had one. Then you can just spam tps for oll and pbl and predict auf. It can help to predict your oll on easy faces which you do by tracking 3 of the pieces that will be your LL and seeing which oll they will make when done your face. Your not going to be sub 5 right away but with some practice you will et there pretty quicklyi cant be sub 5 with only this :'(from your experience possible mistakes? i have moyu lingpo
U just have to track peices there aren't always shortcuts for everything. Practice makes perfect.
Just do itthat is i am asking..what ia the way of practise?
Try to focuse on the 3 pieces that move the least, or you know will remain unaffected. Every time you get a 4 move layer, one look it no matter what, and then if you solve it wrong, then you just go back into the scramble and see what you did wrong, it's a learning process, you won't be 100% correct all the time and it will take longer than normal inspection but it will get betterDoes anyone have any tips on one looking 2x2 CLL? I can one look easy cases such as R U R', though longer layers are harder for me... BTW, I average around sub 3.5 3.4 ish.
Thanks
One looking is usually for when you use the EG method, but with Ortega you can predict oll the same way. You figure out your layer/ side, which should be 4 moves at most usually, and then track 3 last layer pieces to find their orientation after your layer. The fourth piece only has one option, so you know your oll from there and go right into it. When practicing, every time you get a 3 move face, predict the oll, and then check what you did wrong if it doesn't work. When you eat the hang of 3 move faces, you can move onto 4+ with the same methodhello.i havent seen that anywhere but i thing one looking is a very important step in our 2x2 times.so i thing it would be good a whole post for that.i have seen some videos but still cant understand the logic behind tje one looking. Are there guys that had already fully realized gow to one look?if yes how they practise it?and how long it takes to gave a good one look.it would be helpfull if you at least fully predict oll in ortega.thanks
Cyotheking has some videos on recognition I believe. For algs, try learning a set at a time, usuaally a few you will already know, and the others are not that bad. Then drill the algs using a Cll case generator, on most common timers, and force an oll case set you knowI'm having trouble recognizing some of the CLL cases. And then memorizing the algs for them is hard too because I get confused. Any tips?
