When I'm turning really fast, like 8 or 9 tps,one of the cubes sides(usually the red or white side)just doesn't turn for a moment.
Wait... you said you average 30-50 seconds, but you are turning at 8-9 tps?
i average around 10 seconds and i only go up to 7 tps AT most :)
most professionals turn that fast :)
do you mean during last layer? - yes of course ok that makes more sense! :)

Haha;)Yes,you're right,but no.
I turn at 7-8 tps throughout the full solve.
But I just can't get rid of my pauses:(
My pauses take 60% time of my solves.

Hi, I've noticed all the edge pieces of GAN 356M clicking where the two colours meet which is very irritating. Is this a common issue with this cube? My GAN 11M Pro does not do this nor do any of my other cubes.

Can’t quite see but is the cubie slightly out of place/pushed out? I think I’ve heard that you can put the piece back slightly wrong for the Gan 356 M so it’s not quite fitting.
Or maybe the tiles are clicking?

I had that happen with a Gan 356 (xs?) . It was the two pieces of a cubie not completely pushed together, so one stuck out just a tiny, tiny bit, and it would catch and click on the one next to it as it passed. You could actually feel the click go through the entire cube when solving.

At first I thought magnets were clicking together or hitting. At one point I got so annoyed with it I grabbed the cubie and squeezed it to take it out and take the cube apart, but in squeezing it it fixed the issue and the cube hasn't clicked since.

Don't know if that helps or not but that was my experience.

Mine was clicking on all 12 edge pieces so I got a refund. Now need to find something else.

if I may make a suggestion...

dayan-tengyun-v2-m-3x3

dayan-guhong-3x3-v4-m

(I had links to them at the cubicle but in case they're not allowed I just left the brand and model names)

(imo) they're as good as my Gan cubes, feel very similar in that they're very smooth and quiet,.. but they're much less $$$ than Gan prices.

They're the closest I've found to Gan in terms of feel and performance, without the prices.

I have both those cubes and I'm comparing them to the Gan Air S, Gan 356, 356xs, and 11 M Pro that I own.

DaYan makes some really nice stuff. I've been very surprised by how good the newer cubes they make are. (their megaminx also easily is on par with Gans megaminx)

The Guhong is extremely light as well, with stronger magnets, the corners almost snap into place. The Tengyun v2 is very 'Gan'ish' though,.. imo.

anyway,... good luck with your cube hunting.
