[Help Thread] What should I learn next?

If you care about getting fast, OLL -> COLL/WV
Most cubers who are fast don't start incorporating COLL or parts of OLS(which WV is part of) before reaching 12-10 seconds globally.
If you just want to have fun, learning EOLS/COLL/EPLL or EO/reduced OLS/PLL is a nice alternative, but more moves and(OLS) more algorithms.
Most CFOP users say OLL/PLL is plenty and they do have a point.
Also, most CFOP users don't like having to learn a new recognition system for COLL.
As for me, I use COLL for 3 Years simply because I like COLL and dislike OLL

This is the answer you need, but I can see the 'Everything apart OLL/PLL bad' Gang creeping up.

Okay, so I (hopefully) have a comp in a month, and I only have a few OLLs left to learn, and after I learn that what do I learn next (I already plan on learning a bunch of F2l algs)
also, I average mid 17s
EDIT: I won't learn anything new except for those few OLLS, but what should I learn after the comp?

Note: do NOT learn anything new before a comp. Instead, take what you know and practice those techniques, such as lookahead, f2l olls, Plls, etc. Learn those last few OLL, but then start drilling all of your LL algs, makings sure they're the best they can be for the comp.
Actually, give one more week of learning, then you starting the reinforcing.

Alright thanks! What should I learn after the comp then I guess

Finish your OLL's as fast as possible, then instead of learning new algs, figure out how the algs work, and view them from an intuitive perspective. Then drill all the cases.

If you're gonna learn WV, it means you always have to guarantee that you get your last F2L pair and EO, every single solve, might not be worth it.
But knowing OLL guarantees that once your F2L is done, you can easily complete your solve.

Well, you have M2, which swaps 1 edge using the M slice. Then you have 3-style, which solves 2 pieces, but swaps 3 pieces at one using commutators. 5-style has the same idea as 3-style: solves 4 edges, but swaps 5 edges at once using commutators.
M2, 3-style and 5-style are all methods for 3-blind
what do you learn when you first start blind
