I'm moving on to either the 2x2 or 4x4 and was curious if it matters which route I take or just pick one and have fun.

If you know how to solve a 3x3 you already know how to solve a 2x2, you could just watch a 3 or 4 minute video explaining how to transfer your algorithms and you would be able to do it just fine.

There's a quick parity algorithm you will need to learn for 2x2, buy yeah, other than that you already know what you need. I'd say go ahead and do the 2x2, since you should be able to get it so quickly. Then graduate to the 4x4
