I can't tell from the images on:
http://grrroux.free.fr/method/Step_4.html
if the edge you can't see matters for step 4a.
I also find this step to be tedious and frustrating most of the time, does anyone have any tips?
Thanks![]()

Strict roux vs. Anything goes roux
I know this may just be a matter of opinion but would it be better to strictly stick to each roux step exactly or would it be ok to have some variation (eg. In F2B if you see another 2x2x2 that is easy to make after the first 2x2x2, would it be better to use the block or just ignore it and continue with the original block)?
I do sometimes do left 2x2 -> right 2x2 -> finish LB -> finish RB, but only on very easy scrambles when I can see that far in inspection. Usually it's better to just do normal Roux, since lookahead is easier.Strict roux vs. Anything goes roux

1/27 * 1/6 = 1/162Also, what are the chances of a CMLL skip?
I am having a hard time finding and matching the UR and UL edges, that takes me like 5 secs.... Tips on that?
also: is there a list for the EO cases for l6e?
Is there any place that has stats for the FB instead of cross like this

https://www.speedsolving.com/forum/...ross-and-3x2x2-move-count&p=185213#post185213
it's amazing how low the movecount is, especially for fixed block. and this is in HTM, doesn't take into acount slice moves.
I think I like roux more than cfop
but on which parts can I improve?
f2b: 7-10 sec
cmll: 2-3 (either 1look or 2look)
l6e: at least 10, sometimes even more, like 13,14..

I'm doing them as well my friend. I'm using algdb.net for the algs and learning them (O-Orientation skip) H, Pi, U, T, L, As, A.Hi all,
I'm about to improve my Roux skills. Currently I use 2-look algorithms for last layer corners (from my CFOP set) and want to learn CMLL.
Can anybody please recommend
1. Good understandable table of CMLL cases (PDF would be a best)?
2. Order of learning them?
Thanks in advance.
