Interesting, but what are the advantages of this over JARCS, which gives multiple optimal solutions for each possible FB?

the advantage is that i actually know of this ones existence... sounds like i should check out JARCS, but i dont see why i would need more than one optimal solution; it is just nice to have one for example purposes.

I have a question about bigger cubes for roux especially the 4x4. I recently started practicing 4x4 again and learned Yau it helped me get my times down a lot from around 2 mins to a minute and a half. I'm wondering how other people use Roux for solving bigger cubes and how to tackle the M slices; I usually end up with inner-layers misaligned and the cube locking up on me. Also is there a variation of Yau optimized for Roux solvers. I really like the idea of building the first 4 edges before centers and keeping them on the bottom so all the other edge species are on top and improve recognition and reduce move count a little bit (long sentence). Although this does not work as well for Roux as much once on to the 3x3 stage. I was wondering if anybody has developed a similar technique that helps with building the first one or two blocks or if I would be just as well off to stick with CFOP for bigger cubes.

so waffo told you about meyer, and now here i come to plug the moar funfun method ;)

this is the same, right?

no not exactly. the method in my video functions more like K4, where the stadler method reduces to LSE it seems. Ive tried to do something similar but was never able to make it work (probably because my comm game is unstrong =P). It looks fun though, i'll check out his approach later!

I've been using both for a long time, and I'd say JARCS is best for studying and Block Trainer is best for practicing.

Thanks will probable learn K4 and Meyer and just use what I like more. Are there any sites that have more information on the Meyer method I haven't found anything real useful other than a few example solves are there any good text based tutorials or anything for it?

ehhh, the prevailing philosophy seems to be list the steps, done. that's as far as meyer tutorials usually make it.

Ok. So after 2 weeks of not posting on the forums, I have decided to come back. I know I have been receiving a lot of hate recently, and I know I deserve it. I apologize for my arrogance, overconfidence, and cockiness. I am sorry to Ryan specifically, and anyone else who I offended.

What you averaging like? Welcome back!

look at updated sig. sub 11.5. I was considering just ditching this account and quitting the forums, but RosstheBoss would know I'm me immediately when he meets me at a comp since there are not many other fast roux users. And i don't think I could convincingly lie and say i use CFOP then use roux in official solves sooo... yeah hi.
