I am considering new cubes, incuding the Aolong v2 and gt, Hualong, Tanglong, and Meiying, but I only want to get two or three. I like the fell of my Weilong v2, and the weight of my ShuangRen v2. Which cubes should i get? Sorry for my ignorance.

If you like the weight than the MeiYing or even HuaLong might feel odd. The TangLong is the more stable of the ones on this list similar to the WeiLong. The AoLong is nice but since you are going to get two I say get one that is similar (TangLong) and get one that feels very different (MeiYing) and experiment.

Side note, there is a thread specifically for helping people choose what puzzle to get.

Timer Compatibility W/ Computer?

Hello!

I used to have a SpeedStacks time before I quit cubing for about a year, and have recently gotten back into cubing, but cannot seem to locate it. I don't have the money to blow on another one, so I was wondering if either the FanXin Timer or the YuXin timer are compatible with the computer as SpeedStacks is (as in, is either compatible with Prisma Puzzle Timer), and if they both either are, or aren't, which is better? Thanks!

I'm planning on getting back into cubing, but I've been out of it since my main 3x3s broke and the stickers melted off most of my mains in my cube bag about a year ago. What are the three most popular 3x3s at the moment?

Aolong GT (or Tanglong), Gans 356(s) and the aurora (though I'm probably wrong about that one please correct me with the name). Though the Aolong v2 is good one broken in and the Yuxin seems to hold its own despite being cheaper.

Basically, you'll be fine getting almost any cube on the market.

I wouldn't get the aurora. The Meiying and Thunderclap are great as well, It all comes down to personal preference as a lot of the new speed cubes that come out are all nearly Perfect.

Yeah, the thunderclap is the cube i meant when i said the aurora.

OP: if you have some spare cash then, it is probably worth getting a few of the more recent cubes and just seeing which one you like most. It may also be a good idea to get a firmer idea of what you like in a cube and then desk for opinions

Cubeologist has a video covering how to lube and tension you cube. Check it out, it really helps a lot.

I just got a Moyu Aolong V2 for Christmas. Fresh out of the box, it felt like it was covered in oil. Could it be lube that leaked out, or something else? I've solved with it for a couple days now and it seems to be fine, but I want to know if I need to clean it out or something.

What other cubes would ff aolong stickers fit

I realize that stickers arnt expensive and ff stickers probably wont fit any other cube than the one they are made for. But i received an extra set of aolong ff stickers and was wondering if it would fit something like a thunderclap. If anyone has tried ff aolong stickers on other cubes and thought they worked fine id like to hear about it. Thx :)

You can just trim them if they don't fit, although aolong and thunderclap pieces are similar I think.
