My Moyu Hualong feels pretty fast, almost too fast for me to handle. >~< I only have a screwdriver and standard Lubicle at my disposal.. Is there a way I could try slowing my Hualong down without ruining it?

Vasiline! Alternatively just try over lubing.

Anybody know how to get the washers that come in the gans 357?

I have a question. I have a Rubik's brand Rubik's cube which I don't use anymore and I'm perfectly fine with rendering it unusable.

Everyone says that vaseline is not a good lubricant because it will loosen your cube up to the point where it is impossible to turn. I am wondering if lubing it with vaseline, letting it loosen the cube for a few days, and then washing out the vaseline will work? I plan on trying it with my Rubik's brand cube.

Does anyone have any ideas on this? Has it been tried before, and if so, has it succeeded?

Idk if it will work but if you are ok with potentially screwing up the cube then go for it! :-)

Vaseline does not loosen the cube. it makes it much more gummy. It makes it smoother but not faster.

What is the size of the screw hole in a 3x3?

Hello,

I searched the forums, but couldn't find anything about the hole size for screws in a 3x3. I am CADing a 3x3 for fun, and I want to be as exact as possible.

Thanks!

Yuxin 3x3 Maru cx3 soft spring mod

I just ordered Maru cx3 soft springs for my Yuxin 3x3. And I was just wondering if there was any thing special I needed to do to install them. If you know of any installation tips please let me know

Not really, you just have to take the cube apart, pry off the center caps and unscrew the screws. There will be the center piece, screws, springs, and washers. Just switch the springs and put it back together, might want to lube it.

Haha anyway I tinkered with it and put it back in (woo!) then it popped again but I got it back in but at least I know it's not just me! Thanks! (Any tips would be helpful though)

If one was to make a ball shape mod of a Ghost Cube, would it just end up as a normal 3x3 ball?
