Its actually not "banned", you can get this "scramble" in comps.
However, if the cube is already solved, it wasnt supposed to be (misscramble) and so you just cant get wr or something on that scramble (the time doesnt count) and youll get an extra solve instead.

I thought the scrambling program was programmed to avoid misscrambles

Yeah but human error yk ?
Sometimes a judge may forget to send cube back and the solver gets a solved cube, or the scraambker thinks they scrambked i and forgot to check, or they did a D' in the scramble instead of a D.

Sure but when I said it was banned I meant it shouldn't ever be generated and it shouldn't count if it is ever accidentally given to a competitor

i got this while doing 2x2 OH, decided to do the solve 2H, got a 1.82, beating my old PB by .24s after almost a year (i got my 1.844 on dec 29th 2024)
do i count it as PB? i got the scramble in the 2x2 OH section of cubedesk.
